Race

Let me tell you something about these "experts" who testify in court. You really need a lot of context to understand how trustworthy an "expert" is. Are they being paid? Are they susceptible to any bias based on who is paying them? Many experts feel pressure to give the desired results because if they dont they simply hire a different one who does. This is generally abused by the prosecution because they have the money to do it whereas most people do not have the money. This isnt specific to any side in this case. I dont know those answers regarding to the experts in this trial. Its just a general warning.

The defense will put up their own experts saying Floyd died of a drug overdose. It comes down to who you believe which is probably influenced by what you're predisposed to believe.

I remind everyone that the standard is beyond a reasonable doubt. It's not what is most likely true. The prosecution must disprove any reasonable alternatives. That's a tall burden here.

This is why I thought Chauvin would not be convicted from the beginning. It was always going to be difficult to prove the cops killed him since courts have accepted excited delirium as real. From what I have read its considered pseudo science but it helps cops get away with murder so judges, who are almost all former prosecutors who love cops, ate that **** up.

odd no mention of this:

Joe Gutierrez, the officer who pepper-sprayed Army Lt. Caron Nazario, has been terminated from his position with the Windsor Police Department

this happened 4 months ago. The officer was only fired because the video went public.

So why are you posting it?

Are you saying there is a big race issue between Hispanics and Blacks?

The "warrant" on #DaunteWright was over unpaid fines for 2 minor misdemeanors

— one a marijuana case — totaling $346. He pled guilty, filed for deferred payment

and they were sent to collections DURING A PANDEMIC.

Then he was pulled over for car air fresheners and killed over it.

Getting pulled over for air fresheners is police trying finding a pretense to check for drugs, alcohol, or outstanding warrants. It's not a good practice but it happens just an insane amount.

I have no problem with them arresting him if he has warrants out for him. It's not really the job of a cop in the field the determine the validity of the warrant. You can say there shouldn't have been a warrant but that's the result we get when we decide to fund our police through traffic tickets and petty drug cases.

The guy shouldn't have tried to get back into his car and leave. That was a mistake on his part. And if he'd been tased and brought in, no one ever hears about it.

However, I don't buy the official line that the officer meant to draw his taser and ended up drawing his service pistol. That's just stretching things too far.

Wasn’t it a female officer?

Agreed on the bull**** excuse. Any officer worth their badge can tell the difference. But maybe female officers shouldn’t be put in high stress situations. That may upset the woke people but it may just save lives.
