Rasslin' Thread: Sponsored by the Oz Man

I watched the replay of The Killing of Bruiser Brody at midnight and that was some BS how the other wrestlers lied and only Tony Atlas and Dutch Mantel told the truth and Dutch didn't get his subpoena to court until 10 days after the trial and the murderer (another wrestler) got away with it! I'm not trying to be funny but Bruiser Brody looked a lot like a much larger Elias when he had his hair pulled up in a ponytail. I said I'd watch that and then go to bed and then they replayed The Match Made in Heaven (Randy Savage and Elizabeth) and then The Montreal Screwjob after that and I ended up being up until after 3 am, all of the episodes I have seen so far are must see tv.

There’s a very good documentary called The Heroes of World Class you should check out if you like those Viceland docs. Think it might be on YouTube. It’s sad how big they could

It looks like Moxley (Dean Ambrose) is headed to AEW! Dave Meltzer is reporting that CM Punk will be signing with them also!

And his wife on WWE? Interesting.

It is going to have to be weird for her.

I was in independent wrestling events recently but at my age I could put some of the smaller ones down easily but I got hurt in an auto accident. So i can't play any sports and can't help my friend independent events anymore because of it. It was bad what happened to me.

I could manage but I like being a heel and attack from behind.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad health, my friend. I would want to be heel also, one of my favorite gimmicks of all time was when The Rock came back with a shaved head for the first time and wore the vest and played the guitar and was basically booked as his real life self at least the Hollywood part but he played the "I am better than you" to the crowd so perfect. I also like The Miz as a heel and think they are wasting him right now as a face. I never really liked HHH for a long time because I felt he married into the business and was gifted his spot but there is no denying he was a very good heel when he used to get the sledgehammer out from under the ring when he was younger and more active and I'm sure he learned a ton about wrestling from his best friend and wrestling legend, Ric Flair. I could see myself as being like Lio Rush on Raw getting under people's skin. Back to Ambrose's wife, I wonder if she is about to leave WWE soon because you know when they do the Hall of fame all of the wrestlers and company employees bring their spouses. That would be weird, I don't know if it would be more weird for him or her but I do remember Mickie James bringing her husband to the ceremony a few years ago while he was employed by Impact Wrestling.

The wrestling documentaries on VICE are definitely worth checking out. The Von Ehrich family one coming out next week is getting some major good reviews

What did you think about the Von Erich episode? I remember reading about their tragedies in wrestling magazines as a child, there was no internet back then. I had no idea Kerry had a prosthetic leg in WWF though. The only way to get news in those dinosaur days as a kid was the magazines or gossip, I remember hearing a rumor in the late 80’s or early 90’s while I was in the grocery store checkout line as a kid that Lex Luger had died but like I said there was no internet or quick way to check. It never was reported on the news was the only way we finally knew it wasn’t true.

Since Sinclair bought the fox sports channels, things are looking up for ROH. Sinclair owns ROH, and now they finally have tv markets in Chicago and New York. ROH may actually come on your local fox stations. Here in Columbus SC, it’s on Saturday at 11pm. Better in ring action than the boring WWE

Kind of crude of you Krg about WWE, they are not bad. As long they don't have those who only do events (Lesnar) they are okay. Ricochet is from my hometown and a crowd favorite, Aliester Black is awesome as a striker, which I am but much much older and could wrestle easily at my age but not now due to an auto accident. I help my friend, we play softball together, for events in wrestling and they do not want to challenge me. I am too big for them to handle, not in being fat either.

First thing give Ring of Honor the proper praise (ROH), it was disrespectful for a good brand by you because you did not say what it is and non-wrestlings fans would not have known. Many of the WWE were in the ROH and not NXT starting out, it came later.

Please don't butcher that anymore.

So does that mean you haven't watched it yet or what?

Sorry. I watched it. It was good. Hard to watch that without tearing up even though I knew the ending. I think next weeks episode is about Geno Hernandez which is another good story. Didn’t want to spoil that one.

What do you guys think about the new wild card rule in WWE?

Vince already broke it the first night.

Also, it's only installed because of pressure from NBC and FOX due to horrific ratings.

WWE had a nice run for a long time. Their ratings are down over 25% from a year ago. That’s terrible. Something needs to change and change now

I think they want kids but my god she is so beautiful and that body and it is not like a swimsuit but a woman that could be a mom. I think she will be leaving and one of the ones in the back would take over.

Where in the hell they get all these beautiful woman? Now wrestlers, well they are wrestlers, Bliss is fine as hell but her attitude, well lets just say, I would say no.

I would date Bailey in a heartbeat, she is my type, as The Man (Becky Lynch), the one that I would take #1. She is just a smaller version of Bailey.
