Ridder on the bench. He was apparently cleared from concussion protocols but didn't go back in. I'm interested to see how it's portrayed after the game. Will it be the Falcons being cautious with Ridder or will it be the Falcons trying to find a spark on offense.
TH seems like he’s a couple tiers better than Ridder. I can’t see them going back to Ridder anytime soon. Maybe they spin it as being cautious with Ridder.
And that's not good because it's not like Heinicke is a good QB.
If only 2016 Matt Ryan were here… sigh
The Falcons really Falcons-ed that one. That drop by Van Jefferson just can't happen in the NFL. That has to be caught 100% of the time.
Arthur Smith said they didn't take Ridder our for "performance issues." All indications are Ridder is still the starter. Arthur Smith is an idiot.
Cousins probably just ruptured his Achilles
I think I’m done with Arthur Smith… I was really optimistic about him and really wanted to see him succeed. Can’t stick with the dude anymore.
Ridder seems officially benched. Can we sign Ryan?
I think Tannehill is traded to Atlanta by EOD Tuesday for a 5th rounder. Maybe even TN picking up some of the contract.
The guy is failing in almost every way a coach can. His play calling/design has been almost juvenile, he's a wretched talent evaluator, he's not an effective leader, and he has basically no discernable vision for the team.
I want the Falcons to succeed but I have no problem watching Smith fail. Dude acts exactly like the rich, entitled daddy's boy he is.
