You mean if their coach wasn’t a dummy?

This is gonna go down as one of the all time worse coach jobs in recent years. This is Pete Carroll throwing instead of handing it to beast mode dumb, this is Dennis Green taking a knee instead of giving his track meet offense a chance of walking it off, Miracle at the Meadowlands stupid.

One of the single worst losses in championship game history led by an absolute atrocious coaching call.

3 scores against a team you were dominating.

Embarrassing job. Feel the game. Don’t just look at a piece of paper you ****ing moron.

Yup - the call was so obvious there. Niners looked a JV team up until that point. Lions had it all going. Three scores felt like an insurmountable lead.

I would expect an excel dude to understand the math

Okay king hyperbole. Settle down

49ers were 7.5 point favorites at home. The Lions made two questionable fourth down calls that didn’t work out. I’ve seen worse playoff losses.

Chop - you were watching the game. Lions were DOMiNATING. The game completely turned on that call. They go up 3 scores and it’s just about over.

I'm glad the super iq guy has shown he rejects win probability lol

It shows you don't know anything about win probability. Lions went from around 83% to around 73% in one or 2 plays. They effectively lost 10% in one play. Had they kicked the field goal it would have gone up. There's no reason to run that play when you have a 2 score lead.

Lol the lions covered

Basically Campbell played the math... his players didn't execute

Campbell thought touchdowns were necessary to win. He didn't realize how soft the 49ers defense was

People only think about the upside and not the relative risk. Common mistake for dummies.

2.2% win probability to go for it

Yall are fine to judge based on results. It's a low iq move but it's easy
