If the Falcons can get Reddick for a 3rd or 4th (shouldn’t cost more than that when looking what the Chiefs got for a younger Snead at a similar position of demand), then the ideal scenario would be to trade back a couple spots in the first round if there’s the interest. Falcons would have really set themselves up with a damn good team

Reddick plus Verse or the UCLA guy would make a heck of a rotation with Harrison and AK… then you still would have draft capital to get a good WR prospect (McConkey is my favorite possibility) and CB prospect.

That's kind of what I want. Like odds are one of the top 3 WR will be there at 8, or a QB could be so we could trade back a handful of picks, still get Verse, Latu, or Byron Murphy II to improve our line. Hopefulyl grab another 2nd that could turn into someone who could be a strong one.

The Hipdrop tackle won't stop scores. It will lead to more and longer offensive drives as it's best use is to stop the extra yard.

It certainly prevents more yardage though, which helps in suppresses scoring.

The main thing this ruling does is that it will force refs to make even more awful judgement based calls.

I thought the goal was to shorten games? This move virtually guarantees an extra 1-2 penalties a game minimum and more scoring, both of which make the game a good bit longer.

I mean this is where I'm against it. Refs interpretations. The difference between a hipdrop and wrap and throw could be screwed up by the refs.

Good chance this trade ends up similar to the Julio Jones trade. Diggs had a nice year overall last year, but he had his lowest YPG since 2018

Diggs bitches and moans his way out of Buffalo to Texans.

Guy might be more trouble than he’s worth

Diggs is a really talented WR but I think he'll be one of those players who'll now be pissed he isn't the number 1. Which could happen. nico emerged as a 1 had more yards then Diggs and was targetted about as often as Diggs had receptions. Diggs I tihnk could be an awesome 2, but will he be happy going from 150+ targets a year to like 80-100 since he's been clearly Allen's favorite and he probably won't be Stroud's favorite given the existing chemistry Stroud and Collins have.

My money is he'll be asking to be traded again in 2 years. He's giving vibes of being like TO Without TO's other worldly talent.

He will be traded again next year when it doesn’t go his way.

Diggs has less wear and tear than JJ so yeah he will be better than Julio. Jj dropped off a cliff.
