REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Not enough weapons for Kaepernick. He already has a nearly All-Pro TE, a solid number one, and decent threats elsewhere not to mention what should be one of the best running games in the NFL.

Decent threats elsewhere? Define that right now?

He doesn't have half the talent that Ryan is throwing to right now.

As soon as Davis gets healthy and Crabtree and Manningham come back, Kap is going to be back to being the best QB in the NFL.

Kaep will be a monster if those two come back healthy. He basically has a 75% Davis and Boldin.

I actually like McDonald but Kyle Williams still looks hurt. Also, I think Baldwin is going to start now. He was somewhat productive in KC with a crap QB. Guy is a physical specimen but has a 10 cent head.

49ers have gotten real conservative because they have very little out there right now.

That's cause he doesn't have anyone that can match with Julio. A simple addition of Crabtree and he does.

While still Julio>Crabs, Boldin>Roddy on one leg, and Davis>>>>>>>>>>>Tony

Davis may be the most underutilized weapon in the NFL.

Yeah, that same Gonzalez that catches 6-8 balls a game and a TD a game. Sure thing.

Davis was utilized nicely in game 1 and got hurt in Seattle. What about being hurt do you not understand. Oh thats right, someone being hurt only factors into it when its someone on the Falcons.

Garbage? He hasn't been garbage this year. What a joke.

I can only imagine where Ryan would be this year without Gonzalez.

If he can't be better than average with pretty nice weapons (aka better weapons that Ryan had at the very start of his career) why assume he's a great QB? Garbage is harsh but I knew it would get a rise out of you.

Pretty nice weapons? You realize that Davis is not even close to 100% right? Teams are doubling Boldin on every play. Where is he supposed to go with the football?

Also, the offensive line has been horrid up until the game against the Rams.

You just don't know what you are talking about which is why I get enraged.

Ryan also took a step back in his second season but lets ignore that.

Yeah but this is Kaepernick's third. And Ryan's "step back" year just meant he was on the outside of the top 10, not that he was average. Kaepernick should be playing much better than he is so far. He had one dominant game that's keeping his numbers afloat.

Crabtree won't be 100% until next year, Achilles injuries take awhile to recover.

Manningham will help but he's nothing to lose sleep over.

If the Niners eventually pay Kap a lot, he will have to make his own weapons.

Guys like Brady, both Mannings, Brees, Rodgers, among others do it.

I know they are worried about Kaeps saftey in all, but I think he needs to get back to running more. Will soften up the coverage for him.

There is not as much of a need to keep 5-6 snacks on the field so the los area is clogged up. Kaep will run more as the weapons come back.

Peyton Manning doesn't need it but he has been gifted with playing with incredible offensive talent his whole career. Rodgers and brees to a lesser extent. Brady is really the only guy who is productive with average talent.

Outside of Graham and Colston, Brees isn't exactly loaded with elite weapons.

And Brady has had the likes of Moss, Welker, Lloyd, Amendola, Gronk, Hernandez since 07 which isn't bad.

Rodgers weapons arent elite.

Manning had a time where his starting weapons were Wayne, Blair White, Collie and Dallas Clark.
