one of the top 3? no. he's not better than peyton, brady, montana, young, elway, unitas, marino. rodgers will be better when all is said and done. i'm not saying he isn't one of the best, but top 3 is really stretching it. no way he's better than the first 7 guys up there.

Didn't say he was one of the top 3. But he's still one of the best ever

Favre is outside of the top 10. Not that it's particularly bad, but 10 off the top of my head

Johnny U
Elway
Marino
Montana
Peyton
Brady
Brees
Otto Graham
Baugh
Starr
Staubach

Maybe a few others I would argue as well like Aikman, Kelly, Young, etc.

Favre is the Nolan Ryan of quarterbacks. His stats came from playing longer than anyone else.

Favre is Top 10 or borderline top 10 no matter hwo you set your lst. Nearly impossible to compare players of different era's, but he's definitely better than Aikman, Kelly, etc. And Young is obviously a Top 10 QB ever.

Favre played at an elite level for quite a while, though he was mostly garbage his last 5-6 yrs (09 and 07 not withstanding). But from 94-04 there was hardly a better QB in the league. Only Peyton, Elway, and Young were really the only better QB's during various times in this era, and Favre was on par or better then these guys nearly every yr.

ok. my reply to him was him stating that favre, brees, and manning are the top 3 all time.

But it isn't like the difference between top 3 all time and top 10 all time is really all that relevant, and it's pretty much all personal preference anyways. Peyton and Brees are still easily 2 of the best Qbs to ever play the game regardles if they're stat padders or not.

lol at the Texans being a top 5 team. With Schaub at quarterback they are decent, but he's holding them back.

Seattle, Denver, Indianapolis, New England, New Orleans, and possibly San Francisco are all better. Kansas City and Detroit and Atlanta when healthy are all debatable as well.

Really? San Francisco? Listen, I'm not saying they won't be good, but San Fran has been average at best this year. They could easily turn it on (and I think they will) but through week 4 San Fran doesn't belong in the top 10. They're 21st in offensive yards per game and 23rd in PPG. Defensively they're better but not stellar at 4th in YPG and 19th in PPG. Their -2.1 SRS is 20th in the NFL. San Fran has not been good to start the season.

He stated they were the three best. No argument can be made for Favre being there. Or Brees, at this point.

I missed where he said Favre was Top 3. My bad.

Peyton certainly is in discussion for GOAT. Brees is top 5 for me. I know thes.e guys throw a lot, but they also have completion percentages near 70 percent which is crazy. Teams know they're going to throw and they still can't stop it

better luck next time, thethe :eusa_dance:

He'll come back...They always do!

This weeks game will say alot IMO. If the 49ers can find a way to win at home (which they should) the next three games are all games they should win. Then they have their bye and could be getting back another weapon in Manningham. As the receiving core comes together and someone like Jon Baldwin learns the playbook then the offense will open up. Its too bad that Baldwin is so stupid because he has crazy ability. I have read that it takes him forever to actually learn plays.

For almost a decade Favre was the undisputed best quarterback, many said best player, in football. 3 MVP's in a row. He owns all the records - yes, including most interceptions. But an argument can be made for the most durable player ever, and playing the most skilled position. In his prime he was as good as anyone and he lasted long enough to hold all the records, so yeah, he deserves the title of best ever.

There's the argument for. Against?

At his peak Farve can be considered an all time great for sure but once he lost a little on his fastball he was not as good. Guys like Manning/Brees/Brady were all more cerebal QB's so they will last a lot longer.

That's why I said possibly San Francisco was better. I think they are very similar teams with what they want to do
On offense. Both defenses have been a little bit of a letdown as well.

Schiano is an effin joke. Is there 1 player that wants to play for him? Wow.

I'm assuming he's done after the season but Freeman has off the field issues and plenty of on the field ones. Any coach that wasn't a push over and this was bound to happen.

Im referring to the Bucs organization spying on its own players at night and/or on the road. Though, the way they leaked info/treated Freeman is absurd.

Schiano needs to go ASAP. Coaches spying and reporting back to Schiano. Freeman should SUE the hell out of them for leaking his med records

Unamed TB Buc players say they are being secretly video taped by team in rooms and sidelines. Its out of control there.

So the source is a host of an MMA show? In Vegas?

Yeah, get back to me when someone actually reports it.
