Yeah...I guess jerry Reese isn't as good as some thought. Lots of things going wrong with this team. At least according to some giants should be able to fix their offensive line real quick!
Exactly. One weak link could destroy the whole line. There are very few teams with strong offensive lines and typically all of them are top teams.

How desperate are the 49ers for wide receiver help? While Anquan Boldin has been thrown at 40 times and notched 26 catches so far this year, they don’t have another WR in double-digits when it comes to receptions. After Kyle Williams, the next best WR in terms of targets has seen only four passes thrown his way, two of them in this game. Colin Kaepernick has not been throwing the ball accurately, but this is as bad a receiving corps as the NFL has seen in some time. Boldin is a master at making catches despite never getting open, but that means Kaepernick is looking at an entire corps unable to get open, and settling for throwing it in the direction of Boldin and hoping he makes the play.
I agree with both parts of my bolded/underlined sentence. Kaep could be playing better but he is throwing to crap out there considering Davis isn't healthy and Boldin is being doubled on every possession. But of course I am a homer and nobody actually believes what I say is accurate even though I watch every snap of every 49er game since my man Zito gave me the hook up.

Worst WR corps the NFL has seen in some time? The lulz.
Not even the worst in the NFL today. Chargers number 1 receiver is Eddie Royal and their number 2 is a rookie or Vincent Brown. Yet Rivers is arguably the second best QB in the NFL.

That is straight from there website. You can believe them or not but these guys watch a hell of a lot of football so I think there opinion holds more weight than yours. Even if its not one of the worst in football in a long time they are still easily among the worst if not the worst currently and I have been saying as much since Davis was hurt.
And for San Diego it helps to have a healthy awesome tight end. Once Davis gets back to where he was in week 1 things will look a lot nicer for Kaep.

Gates hasn't been healthy for like 5 years. Still isn't healthy today. Just that Rivers is finally free of Norval's death grip. Gates and Gonzo the elder statemen of TE are dangerous because they're smart, know how to use their bodies etc. Davis with a bum wheel can run circles around them. If Davis is in the game he's a bigger threat than at least 20 of the other TEs in the game. I would argue that he's probably top 5.
Davis and Boldin are a fine 1-2 punch, yes I'm talkign about Davis now and any game he played. Yes not having him hurt them the one week, but I digress.
Want to talk about great receiver corps, look at what Ryan started his career with.
2008 - Roddy, Jenkins, Peelle
2009 - Roddy, Jenkins, Tony
2010 - Roddy, Jenkins, Tony
Those are all basically on par with what Kaepernick has had to work with this year. Jenkins is every bit of a bum as anyone on the Niners, Falcons may have a slight edge in the other 2 departments in 09-10 but not like they're blowing the Niners out of the water. Ryan never looked as lost as Kaepernick has most of this year.
Roddy White in his prime was MUCH MUCH better than Boldin at his age. Boldin is still an excellent WR but White was a monster and is only slowing down now because of injury.
You do realize that Gates hasn't been on the injury report at all this year right? He is much healthier than Davis.

Gates and Gonzo are old men. They play with nagging injuries. They're not listed often on reports because they're nothing new. Gates has been battling bad legs for years. He's just not hurt enough to miss practice or games.
And I wouldn't throw the much much label. Boldin has been a beast this year. Catching just about anything thrown at him. No of course4 for future prospects you take Roddy back then, but Roddy also didn't do much before Ryan came to town. He was good in 07 but thhen had a big improvement in 08. But he was still the lone weapon. Roddy didn't get dangerous until the current group was assembled.

Please, NFL teams put EVERYONE on the injury report if they are injurred. Thats why so many guys are listed as probably and you don't hear a word out of it from the team. If Gates was even slightly banged up he would be put on that list. Fact is he has been healthy this year. Gates actually dedicated himself to becoming more lien this year to avoid having issues and it seems to be working.
Also, Roddy White was clearly becoming a star before Ryan was drafted. It wasn't Ryan that made Roddy. It was his natural progression as a stud WR.

Cowboys defense is awful.
Lol at the niners shaving the worst receiving corps in league (much less for "some time"). Patriots even with Amendola don't have 1 WR as good as Boldin. Without Amendola, the Patriots have jack ****. He had Edelman and 2 rookies. And not even an awesome TE to throw to like Davis.
Cry me a river with this Davis injury BS. If he's healthy enough to play he's healthy enough to produce. Plenty of players play injured every week and still produce.

Tom Brady is one the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. It's pointless to even try and compare him and Kaepernick.
Unless you are Megatron one wide receiver doesn't mean much. Its about the other options and right now the 49ers have nothing.
