Rodgers will still be elite in 10 years. He is the best QB of all time and will be so for at least another 7-8 years. Just look at what Peyton/Brady are doing at their ages.

Also Kaep > Cam

ARod will be 39 in 10 years, if given the choice between a 39 year old QB and a 34 year old one? I'll take the 34. (Assuming similar talent)

Also: Cam > Kap

Look at what Cam is doing with ZERO weapons, he's turned Tedd Ginn into an NFL WR......

Ryan is significantly better than fatass Stafford. Though, neither have played well with out their stud weapons.

I don't get this zero weapons thing for Cam. They have spent a lot of picks and money on their offensive line. They have excellent running backs. Steve Smith is still a very good wide receiver and Olsen is a good TE. Lafell is emerging as a relatively solid WR. Cam has weapons. Its not Matt Ryan weapons level but he is on a really good team.

Regarding taking Rodgers. The exercise is who would you want in 10 years its who you owuld want for the next 10 years. Even if Rodgers is less of a QB in 10 years he will still be the best QB in the NFL for at least another 6-7 years IMO. He is better than everyone and his level of play is the ultimate ceiling an NFL QB can reach. I just don't see how you could be better.

I forgot about Kaep. I think I'd take Cam over him. He's on a worse overall team. I think the Niners would be just as good, if not better, with Cam than Kaep. But I guess I'd take Kaep over Wilson.

Cam's weapons are worse than Kap's and he's having a good year.

Not a chance.

They have two good players on the line, Kalil and Gross, outside of that, it's pretty bad.

And no, his weapons arent that great at all.

They need to upgrade the WR, OL a lot, it needs work.

Uhhhhhh what? Williams and Stewart are "excellent"? In what world is that accurate? Neither has been good in a few years. Steve Smith is 34....and way past his prime, LaFell is emerging LULZ

His best weapon is Greg Olson and he's a decent TE but he isn't a great weapon.

Williams has averaged over 4 yards a carry the last 2 years. Thats not shabby my friend. Tolbert is an excellent short yardage back. I wasn't even considering Jonathan Stewart.

So Smith is 34 and is not anything worthwhile but I suppose Boldin at 33 is elite.

All I said about Lafell was that he was a decent option. Its not like having AJ Jenkins or Jonathan Baldwin out there as your second WR.

Davis is better than Olson but Olson is sitll a solid option.

I didn't say that Cam has better weapons but its just not true to say that Cam has crap around him.

You're just lost, you must be going off name value....Williams graded out as like the 25th best RB last year

Williams RACKED up 46 yards a game on the ground and 11 through the air........

Similar players through age 29:

Gerald Riggs, Gerry Ellis, J.C. Caroline, Fred Morrison, Hewritt Dixon, Robert Newhouse, Willis McGahee, Antowain Smith, Napoleon Kaufman, Julius Jones

Ok, well it looks like you are using Football outsiders. The same site that has Willims at the 13th best back this year (Gore at 12) but I guess thats all Cams doing. Also, Tolbert has graded out well this year in limited carries.

The RB position is pure crap this year, being ranked 13th isn't saying much. That ranking is mostly due to his 1st 3 weeks where he got 86, 85, 120 yards....since those 3 weeks? 39, 64, 40, 43, 42

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

People would take Ryan over Stafford for the next 10 years, even though Ryan is 3 years older?

3 years older. Shocking!

Ryan can do so much more with less. Stafford may have a worse season than Ryan and he's playing with a bunch of turds. Remove Megatron and do you think Stafford would be awesome?

Before you go crying about second options, Stafford has fine second options. Burleson is a fine number 2, Pettigrew is a fine TE.

So you are comfortable with the stats from Football Outsiders then? Just want to know where you stand in the future on comparison using a website.

But again, since Gore is 12th he is incredible? What comparisons are we allowed to make now?

What are you even talking about? When did I say the 9ers have great weapons? All I said was, Cam has no weapons....you get sooooooooooooooo senistive when people rank anyone ahead of your players.

I am just debating whether or not Cam has weapons or not. Again, he isn't on the Matt Ryan level but he isn't on the Mark Sanchez level from last year. There is a middle ground and that is where the Panthers are just like where the 49ers were for most of the year. Now with Davis healthy and Mario coming back the 49ers offense should open up some more.

Burleson has been hurt for awhile but returns soon.

Pettigrew isnt doin much but maybe because Stafford doesnt target him as much.
