REAL FOOTBALL Thread

It will be easier to defend when their offense does better. The Saints were never going to succeed without their coach. THe head coach actually means something in football. Saints will win 11-12 games this year.

Top to bottom the NFC South may be the strongest division in the NFL. Though I think the North is may be a little stronger and depending on the Cardinals who knows about the West (no AFC division is even close) so the Saints could win 11-12 or they could win 5-6 depends on how teams like the Bucs and Panthers show up this year.

The NFC West will probably have the top 2 teams in the sport and I suspect the Rams are going to be top 10 in efficiency rankings as well. And NO team in the league (maybe other than the Jets) needed a QB like the Cards did.

NFC West is the strongest division in football.

On paper they have the top 2 teams in the sport. Who knows about once the season starts. Going into last year no one thought too much about the west aside from the Niners. Maybe second year Wilson or Kaepernick struggle, maybe the defenses tank, NFL is the hardest sport to predict for a reason.

But yet you think the NFC South is the strongest division? Why doesn't the logic of you don't know whts going to happen with Carolina/TB apply here? How can you then say it may be the strongest division.

It would be a big surprise is the 49ers/Seahawks weren't both top 5 teams. I think they will be the best two and meet in the NFC championship game unless Atlanta finds a way to get homefield.

I said may and acknowledged other divisions who could be stronger. May be the strongest and is the stongest are 2 entirely different phrases.

- Regards to Ryan's contract, they really had no choice, but he's not worth THAT much, no one is really. These QB deals pretty much cripple teams once you have to pay the QB.

- Harvin could have a hip surgery, guy is a walking injury.

I would imagine a SB winning QB makes millions of dollars on his fame per year. Wouldn't you just take a little less and know that money is still coming to you if you have a better team and win?

I guess its easy for me to say. I'm not the one who would be turning downt he money.

Who is more accurate on balls downfield? I'd love for that other 49er fan to answer. The one that knocked the Big 12 while supporting a QB from the Mountain West or whatever conference Nevada is in.

Show me where I was touting Kaep's college stats. I never once said anything that even resembles that.
