REAL FOOTBALL Thread

It is true, watch the coaches film available through NFL Rewind. In the live feed you can't see that the safety has jumped the slant route.

I don't think you understand how the DC media works. It is largely anti-Redskins.

It was not a terrible decision to throw the ball away, it was terrible execution bc he was backpedaling and throwing off his back foot. He has to make sure that he throws the ball out of bounds on that play. Something he mentioned when he said he made a mistake and needs to learn from it.

It has nothing to do with the media, his own players are throwing him under the bus for his lack of leadership and accountability. Even if no one is open, the QB takes the blame to the media, you don't see Brady, Mannings, Brees, ARod blaming it on being out-coached or people not being open, etc.

Kaep always takes the blame. Does that give him brownie points!?!?!?!?

It means he's most likely respected by his teammates....so, sure? Hard to respect the "leader" of your team if they don't take blame and throw players/coaches under the bus.

It was meant as a joke because Kaep has been awful this year. But that was always one of the parts about him that got me so excited. His demeanor. Even when he was playing great last year you never once heard him say how good of a job he was doing. It was always how the rest of the team did well and he needs to get better. I don't watch RG3's pressers so I don't really know how he acts. I did believe though that there were issues between him and Shanny in the offseason. He does seem to be a bit of a diva.

"Griffin never directly said the Eagles knew what plays were coming; but he did say, “When it came to the passing game, a lot of times they were tit for tat. They were where they needed to be; they were taking away routes we were trying to run. That’s disheartening, but we have to make sure we come up with something to counteract that. Later in his Sunday news conference, Griffin said the Redskins' offense had not become predictable."

During the game the Wash beat writers were tweeting about the fact the Eagles looked to know what was coming. The only reason I know this is I was listening to the Fantasy radio station and they made a comment about it in game (i don't know they were tweeting it per se, but it got passed along to the fantasy on air talent in game).

WHat the eagles did was not having their linebackers attack the LOS. They dropped them even on play fakes. THat allowed us to gash them through on the ground, but really slowed down our passing game with no windows to through too inside the numbers.

LOL, what do you expect him to say? He's Santana Moss and he called out the franchise QB....Garcon called out RG3 too....but he was wrongly quoted as well, right?

He basically said, I said the same thing...just not in those words. LOL

I think its a bad sign that a teammate needs to say in the media that he doens't hav ea problem with the QB.

Happens when you have media take **** out of context and then the players are forced to answer questions about it.

He said some crap about him not being the same, not as fast, not the same player, etc....RG3 got pissy and challenged him to a race. I know you remember this.
