They will tag him as a TE, but his camp feels differently. The difference is 4.5 million, not peanuts for a team a load over the cap.

I dont disagree, i saw he was 51% TE, 49% WR.

So it will be interesting what they do.

Not that they were ever gonna let him go.

Dallas should have won the division each fo the last 3 years. They choked every year.

2013 - lost 3 of last 4. Including the last game against their division rival to blow it. Barely managed to beat the Skins, all but one ofthose games was close.

2012 - lost 2 of last 4. Including the last game against their division rival to blow it.

2011 - lost 3 of last 4. Including the last game against their division rival to blow it. Lost 4 of last 5. Including very bad losses to the Eagles and Giants at the end.

Under Garrett the only season they were over .500 was his first season. Guy's a bum, fire him.

So the NFL is having a draft by Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders to pick teams for the Pro Bowl? I think the NFL is in desperation mode in trying to sell the Pro Bowl to the fans.

I have to know, in what demented dimension is Alex Smith a probowl QB? Scam is a stretch, but Alex Smith is not even close to being deserving.

Damn, I think you may be on to something here. CC why didn't we think of this???????????????????????????????????????????? (looks for that damn dripping with sarcasm emoticon)!!!

I guess Mike Periera doesn't know the rules.

Mike Periera isn't the king of football.

You see that called quite often actually in that same situation. The contact was minimal. He didn't hit his kicking leg and the kickers forward motion was just as much the cause for collision as anything else.

apparently you are the king of football?
that was pretty clearly a missed call. i hate those calls, but that was one.

The rules are in place to protect the plant leg which is much more important to protect in order to limit injury.

Falcons hire Pioli as assistant GM.

Thats a good move imo.

I thought he got a bad rap with the Chiefs.

Some bad moves, most notably Cassel but he made a lot of good picks and built a good team.

Man knows how to build a team.

Agreed. Great talent evaluator . Looks like TD diagnosed this was an issue needing help

Well, i was trolling a little, but.

After watching that last game, i might believe it. Ryan got creamed and had no time to throw the ball.

How much cap do they have to add an OL.

Whats the worst part of the line?

Plenty of $. Holes at LT, C, RG, and RT. RT will probably be filled by a guy we drafted in the 3rd rd and has never started a game, but his contract is up (Mike Johnson).

We're not gonna sign a LT. Baker gets one more year. He's still a cap casualty next year, but only 2M not like 10. If Baker bounces back to being a serviceable LT (which he should if he's healthy)

Hopefulyl we sign a RT or guard. I would'nt be opposed to seeing if Konz can do something under Tice. Especially if we put someone next to him who can block. If 3/5 of our line is solid we'll be in.

Lots of good OTs in FA. Ideally we could bring back Tyson Clabo, shouldn't be too expensive and rocks at RT. Other option is we get a LT and push Baker to RT or force a competition between him and a FA like Brandon Albert, Jordan Gross, Michael Oher, or someone else. Have to sign a tackle and sign a backup Johnson would be OK to bring back. I would ideally like to make 3 signings if we can. Clabo, Wharton, and Michael Johnson or Jared Allen. Boosts our pass rush, boosts our OL. And I'd resign Babs and Peters.
