So where the Niners fans on this?

Sherman genuinely being a good sport and Crabtree being the punk shoving him in the face.

You're really reaching now. If he was a genuine good sport he would have waited until the game was over and then shook hands on the field when the players greet each other. The way he did it was passive aggressively trying to make Crabtree look bad. It was a move to make himself look alpha over Crabtree and he wasn't going for it.

A good analogy would be if I had a board I laid across a fence and you broke it. Then you turn right around and try and shake my hand. Screw that. You broke my board.

Crabtree could have handled it better. Sherman could have waited until the end of the game to do his thing.

Embarrassing sportsmanship all around.

And I'm the one who's reaching????? GTFO with that BS. Only a serious Niner homer would actually believe that.

Side note, you have a strange infatuation with wood.

This is at least an argument I can get behind. Sherman was obviously pumped about the play, knew the game was over, but made a genuine effort to be a good sport to Crabtree (whom he didn't like) and Crabtree acted like a bitch. Crabtree acting like a bitch is Sherman went off on him in the post-game interview.

Watching the replay of the game.

Just saw the running into the kicker, i dont see the big deal.

He just missed the ball, and he was already down and the punter landed on him.

I dont see how thats intentional.

Even Giles knows he was trying to mock Crabtree with that.

Look I'll try and use a better analogy so you understand it better. It's like when you're a kid and you start playing with a stray cat down the street. Then the street light comes on and it's time to go home but the cat starts following you. You know you aren't allowed to keep the cat so you try and scare it away so it leaves. But you already made friends with it so it just keeps following you anyway. Eventually you just have to bonk the cat upside the head so it doesn't like you anymore. Then you can go in your house.

Keep being a fanboy.

Extremely clear that Sherman was indeed trying to be a genuine good sport to Crabtree. Call it bad timing if you wish, but Crabtree acted a like a whiny little boy who was taking his football and going home.

he's still mad about the playoffs last season

Bailey wasn't even a free agent and they paid him more than what his franchise tag would have been, correct?

Bailey was a restricted FA. SO I guess it isn't out of the question some team could have poached him away, but I wouldn't go over cap for a kicker. Not that there isn't value in a great kicker, it's just that there's about 30 guys who can do the job at close to the same level in the NFL. Bailey may be the best kicker in the NFL (not worth arguing) but there's a reason the pats let a legend in Vinatieri leave. Kickers aren't worth being paid.

I'll never forgive Bailey because last year he missed a FG that would have won me the (FFB) game and instead got me a -1 For the L.

Jerrah Jones guys sure don't go hungry! That is one dumb azz contract for a kicker....

How is that clear at all? Immediately after the play that ends Crabtree's season he runs over and pats him on the butt and then makes a choke gesture towards the QB. Seems to me he was rubbing it in rather than showing good sportsmanship.

Good sportsmanship is acting like you've been there before and letting the loser come congratulate you on the win - not the other way around as Sherman did.

LOL at sherman "trying to be a good sport."
Clear as day to anyone that he was mocking and patronizing Crabs.
He turned around and gave a choke sign to Kaep immediately after...good sport?

It's like if you're at a party with your girlfriend and her ex is there and he's this all American looking linebacker guy who comes up to you and pats you on the head and says "Whats up little man?". Now me, Crabtree and the rest of the "fanboys" would get pissed. You on the other hand would be like "Oh yay he likes me! What a nice guy!".

You aren't real keen on picking up on social cues or sarcasm, are you?
