Schefter says Hou will take Mack, Clowney or trade down.

Not totally surprising news.

If you mean what team has a bounce-back year.

I'd go with the Giants.

No one repeats in the NFC East.

I could see those aged RBs struggle behind a bad OL like Atlanta did last year. Especially with no one on the roster right now that scares anyone out wide.

I think Cam is going to struggle big time. Yes same system as last season and he still has Olsen. However losing 4 wide receivers is going to hurt Cam's progression.

Sounds like the Falcons are gonna move up for Clowney.

What do the Falcons fans on here think?

Personally, it's dumb, they got in this position because of bad drafting, and bad depth. Trading up for Clowney wont change that. They arent one player away.

If they could somehow do it, while keeping their 2nd, you could argue it's fair, but that pick is the deal-breaker if i'm Houston.

Depends on cost. I'm not a fan of giving up the second because that's a potential starter.

I'm also not opposed to giving up picks next year because the window for the Falcons best shot at a superbowl is small.

To add to the Niners offseason, Davis has shoulder surgery. Should be fine for the season but he's not participating in offseason workouts so there may be a fitness concern.

Not a fan, we need to land multiple starters from this draft, and quality depth. Our missing on DL\OL in the past 4 years has just crippled us. The OL HAS to be better just because everyones healthy. We were hit with an injured reserve brick last year and never recovered. I think our LBs can serve, but we need someone to compete at RT, OLB (Rush spot), FS, and a wr and rb for depth and thats just at minimum. I read where we were looking hard at Bruce Ellington, which I would be a huge fan of. He is a great athlete and strong returner that would give us a real weapon in the slot. I'd like to see HD shopped for a pick.
