Wasn't there a scheduling conflict at RCMH and that's why the draft was pushed back?

Don't believe so, think he just did it because he wanted more "buzz" there was a rumor yesterday that he's thinking of moving the 2015 draft back another week or maybe 2.

Yeah that's probably it. I remember hearing something about with the draft being held in May there would be a marquee happening in each month.

I believe the idea was to have have a bigger gap between the start of FA and the draft. Of course it's moronic that there's already a whole month after the end of the season for FA anyway.

Mallet has been dealt to the Texans. All signs point to Clowney at this point though.

All signs had been pointing Clowney. If they went QB it would have been in the 2nd with whoever fell (probably Bridgewater) I think that Jags or Browns may trade back into the first to block someone like Bridgewater to the second

Manziel is going to Cleveland at 4.

Hoping this leads to that Cleveland-Dallas trade we've been hearing about. Cleveland taking Watkins at 4, then trading their 2nd #1 and 2nd rounder to Dallas to move up and get themselves a QB. Jerry Jones will probably eff this one up too though. He'll trade the Cowboy's #1 to the effing forty whiners again for their #1 (which comes up later than Cleveland's) and maybe their 5th round choice. Fun times to be a Cowboys fan, huh Crimson???

I think safety will be the position that teams panic on and end up picking them pretty high. Pryor and Dix could very easily be top half of the draft.

I love how ESPN completely fabricates and creates "stories", like the Cowboys drafting Manziel, and perpetuate it, and people believe it. "Jerry won't be able to resist!" Based on what? He's never really made outrageous picks like that. I know he's crazy, but he wouldn't do that.

Manziel at 16 isn't a horrible pick, but Jerry loves Tony, I see no way he does that to Tony. Maybe if they traded down to the bottom of the first and Manziel was there.

Cowboys are going to need a QB within the next couple years, I'm kinda surprised they didn't go for Johnny Foosball.

Cleveland had a very good round 1. Although they have drafted well before.

Fun fact both Brady Quinn and Brandon Weeden were traded up for by the Browns at number 22. Same spot as Manziel and same trade up scenario as well.0
