Win as a team...lose as a team. I don't believe in putting more blame on any one individual. Especially a coordinator. To me thats just an easy scapegoat to the total team not playing well enough.

49ers had what was almost an impossible task in beating Seattle in Seattle and they came as close as you can to doing it.
It was first down and they take a shot at Richard Sherman. That's about as stupid as it gets.

The Super Bowl he called four straight pass plays in inside the 10 yard line.

Kaep could have not thrown that ball. Even with that, it took a hell of a play by Sherman.

It wasn't a great play at all. He threw his arm in the air and got lucky.

Yes I agree Kaepernick could have looked elsewhere. Patton was wide open.

Eagles could have a scary offense. Word is they are moving with more tempo than they did last season. Sproles adds a dynamic weapon and a healthy Maclin more than makes up for Desean Jackson's departure. Chip's offense isn't predicated on a single guy. That makes it really hard to defend.

They tried to be more uptempo at times last year and it didn't work bc their defense would just fall apart. Sproles is a decent receiver out of the backfield, but I'd much rather Sproles be in the game than Shady McCoy and Sproles isn't too much of a threat running the ball out of the backfield.

Maclin isn't close to the WR Desean Jackson is, but him coming back will help. I don't think Cooper will repeat his year last year and they are likely going to need one of the rookes to step up....Huff or Matthews in order to have a good passing attack. (Ertz at TE seems pretty good)

Also, Foles will have to prove last year wasn't a huge fluke. Also, did they improve on defense at all?

I don't know if they improved. But either way that division is awful and their non defensive ways could win it again.

VD is under-utilized, he should get 7-8+ targets a game, maybe more.

Absolute freak athlete, amazing player.

If you watched the Eagles Cooper and Foles were great together. Eagles success depends on if refs start calling picks more.

I don't like Cooper, but he and Foles were great together. I'm sure you watched enough Eagles games to your chagrin. Cooper was great at finding space and Foles could throw him open.

I have doubts they will be able to do that this year. It's a lot easier for Cooper to beat one on one coverage when you have the fastest WR I'm the game on drawing attention

Cooper was regualrly covered and covered well. Jackson was worthless under Foles. It may be harder but I don't think it will be. Trick is what happens when the league has a year to adjust to kelly and foles as both were totally new last year.

Uh, "worthless"? Stop zito. He drew a lot of attention that Maclin won't draw. Cooper was NOT covered consistently last year, and it wasn't because he's really fast or good at getting open.
It is funny to see giles all of a sudden begin to overrate that basket case Desean though.

That is not surprising. Giles does the same things that he rails on other fans for.

what are you talking about?

DeSean is very good, not top 5, but one of the better WRs in the game. Last year he had 1300+ yards and 9 tds. I think he has the most catches over 20-30 yards the past few years and is averaging over 17 yards per catch.

He is certainly a basket case and I'm glad the contract he signed is very team friendly if he causes any issues or quits on he team like he did with the Eagles in 2012. I'm just hoping he has matured and isn't as much of a pain in the ass as Dez Bryant, who requires his own special rules and is already whining about not being a top 5 WR.

If DeSean went to SF, he'd be the best big play WR in the history of the game according to thethe and his other Niners friends. That's the difference between me and thethe.

Never heard giles ride Desean's jock til he was cut - not traded for, cut. Last year he prob would have said he's overrated and not worth the headache. Now? Well...

Dude mails it in at times and will ask for a new contract if he has a good season. Or if he's injured for some games.
