REAL FOOTBALL Thread

I think them not winning a super bowl since being "found it" just means it's really hard to win Super Bowls. Who knows how much those things really aided in that. They were plenty good at times after that stopped.

but. not. good. enough.

Belecheat has been exposed.

I don't get it, do they think that team will be good with a different coach? Anyone coaching that team would fail. It's terrible.

It's not Dennis Allen making terrible personnel decisions. Allen may not be the answer, but he wasn't the issue either.

Meh, that's why context is important. Cam Newton, a black man, called him that. He didn't call him that to compare him to a monkey, he called him that because DK is big and beastly. It was a compliment.

Yes. And black people call other black people the N word. Does that give me permission to do it?

Suh didn't take too kindly to Cam's comments either

Jesus christ, they are not the same thing.
Suh should stop being a baby then. Clearly it was not racially-motivated. Should we not call black players "beasts" when they're good because we're comparing them to animals? Stop.

If Dallas commits to run game, yes.

But i still question their defense holding up all year.

Injury is my main concern but I guess that's every team concern, but the defense doesn't have to be the '85 Bears just fundamentally sound. Best case 13-3 NFC East champs, worst 10-6 with a wild card, but either way first step back to respectability.

Falcons IR'd two OL today in Holmes (RT), and Hawley (C). Brutal day in Minny Sunday in many ways.

I'd guess Carimi would play RT, and Harland Gunn (which is a bad ass football name) would be super sub on the line.

William Moore was also placed on IR designated to return.

This could be the point in the season where we start to circle the drain.

****, Moore going out is really bad. Holmes sucks. But we can now sign people right?

Signed someone already. Carimi may be better than Holmes but Konz is a downgrade.

That's 3/5 of the original OL already on IR after 4 games, again. Harland Gunn was brought up also. No word on Blalock that I've seen.

Could be scary how many yards Rashad Jennings goes for against Atlanta on Sunday. Teams are trending in opposite directions. Giants starting to roll and Atlanta can't stay healthy at this point.

NFL's first quarter is in the books.

Early season awards:
MVP: Philip Rivers
DPOY: JJ Watt
OROY: Kelvin Benjamin
DROY: Kyle Fuller

Best surprise team: Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys
Worst surprise team: New Orleans Saints

I think MVP to this date has got to be Murray or Luck. Both having phenomenal starts to the season. That being said, Luck has had a cake walk schedule so far.
