REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Remember when I harped on the importance of the mental side of the game?

BTW, I forgot about fantasy today, I rushed in to sub Gore out, forgot to sub out Chokernick. I wasn't gonna win this week anyway though.

I make a lot of claims and I'm wrong a lot. I'm ok with that. I'm a fan afterall. You all were right about Kap and I was wrong. I can't run away from that.

49ers now a long shot to make the playoffs. Must win 3 out of 4 to get in, and even then it's no guarantee depending on tie breakers among Seattle, Arizona, Detroit, and the East loser.

And if they can't score more than 3 points against Seattle at home, imagine the dominance to ensue 2 weeks from now in Seattle.

I got something to excite ESP

They're done unless they win out, they had to win tonight and win all but Seattle to get in.

I just hope Vic Fangio stays with the organization in some capacity. Its amazing what he's done with this defense.

Been calling for Harbaugh's departure since the 49ers "lost" the Super Bowl. He wore out his welcome here awhile back. If Roman isn't canned before their next game it's obvious that Harbaugh is holding onto him and for that he needs to be fired. I get it that Harbaugh likes Roman and all that, but this is a business that requires positive results and the offense has been crap and get has gotten worse the last four seasons. At some point you need to cut ties and even if they wised up and fired Roman it would be too late because this season is in the books.

Not sure how an offense can work well when Kap has played so poorly. I don't think Kap is done my any measure but the man needs to drastically improve his level of play. Nothing he is doing on the field now is a positive.

Rice already isn't good. The Falcons have NO line. He will average 2.5 YPC there, all while bringing all that attention. Why would someone want him?

Rice isn't good? He wasn't good in 2013, but he was one of the best in 2012 and 2011, He seemingly works best in a system where he's rotatted so him and Freeman could work really well together. He's like 27 so he's on the downward part of his career but not in freefall yet.

I am on the Darell Bevell bandwagon. Seattle has a better offense than we do with far inferior players. Sign me up.

He would average 2.5 ypc in your offense.
