Not sure how an offense can work well when Kap has played so poorly. I don't think Kap is done my any measure but the man needs to drastically improve his level of play. Nothing he is doing on the field now is a positive.

Kap wastes too many plays. We're basically playing 2 downs on every drive because every third down he just overthrows the ball into good coverage for no good reason. Take that with the fact that he doesn't run anymore and when he does get out of the pocket, he just gets sacked or throws the ball away because he complete ignores his check downs. Wilson check downed us to death Thursday. Watch our drives and you'll see that half the time we have a check down standing there wide open while Kap ignores him and throws for an incompletion. Every few games when Kap finally decides to throw to his check down, he throws an 80mph bullet to a guy standing 5 yards away and of course it's going to be dropped.

Then you have the fact that our receivers have been dropping everything thrown their way. Gore has absolutely no room to run. We can't even seem to get him a lane once a game these days. The play calling hasn't been as bad lately but it killed us in the beginning of the year. Hopefully we can at least keep Fangio if everyone gets the boot. If there's one positive here, it's our defense. Sucks that they wasted one of the best defenses they've ever had.

Zito loves older running backs for some reason. Guys that already have wear and tear. See Stephen Jackson

Rice isn't that old. And I like Freemna but he's not ready to be a feature back yet, So have someone like rice be the horse until Freeman gets over his fumbles. Basically he swaps in for Jackson, Not that Jackson has been that bad this year, he's had some really bad runs and some bad games but overall he's been about average.

Zito, still think Bortles is really good and should be starting?

I don't think there are any rookie QBs anyone can rule out and simply say they won't be good. But the whole starting rookie QBs on terrible teams right after being drafted needs to stop. I have no clue why franchises continue to do this, but it's extremely ineffective and many times detrimental to QB long-term. I believe plenty of high pick QBs that flamed out could have been good if they were given more time and not thrown right in to the fire. The best rookie QB of all-time would look terrible on that Jacksonville team, because the entire team is terrible. QBs really need to be allowed to sit a year or two, and many of them probably don't feel they need to. But, pretty much all of them do.

He's a kid. Kids aren't allowed to struggle? I mean maybe nothing happens from him, but he just started, and hell, justwon a game.

Regardless of if he amounts to anything, I said he'd be the first QB taken and would go top 5. I was right about that.
