Ryan wasn't responsible for the drafting and scouting int he Jets organization. Sure, he probably had input but to say he drafted anyone is a drastic overstatement of his responsibility.

Head coaches have significant say in the draft, particularly with early round choices. Only higher authorities are the GM and the owner. He

Every organization is going to create their own hierarchy when it comes to decision making. To make a blanket statement like this is inaccurate IMO.

If Rex had more say, he would have at least a stud CB for his defense.

Izdik never went after any of the top tier CB's despite them having tons of cap space.

He's not good and getting older

Considering all the injuries I think he did pretty well this year. His awful game against the 49ers really skewed his numbers. Next year when you line up Beckam/Cruz/Randle/Donnel with RB's Jennings/Williams thats going to be tough to stop. They just need to shore up the offensive line like Dallas did and they could be real explosive.

Dez not a top 5 WR?
LMAO.

I can see the case

Megatron, Julio, Jordy, D. Thomas, A. Brown, and a few others could be in the case over him. I also think a super strong case can be made for Odell Beckham in little time.

I would put him in the top 5, but not my top 3.
