REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Of course.

But once a guy like Zito starts saying school failed me, I think I have a right to defend myself

There's a saying, actions speak louder than words.

I could care less if you're a doctor, if you show no reading comprehension or critical thinking, I'm gonna make fun of you. Funny how you're the only one who read that sentence that way and now you're all butthurt. Sorry that without spending an assload of money on school I have better reading comprehension than you.

I'm so butthurt!!!!

LOL.

I was giving you a hard time for the initial post... your love Ryan is a little excessive... I frankly thought you were making light of it.

Irony is cool.

I'm pretty sure my Ryan love is right on par with where he really is. Maybe I'm a touch optimistic on him, but you're way more homeristic towards Stafford than I am towards Ryan.

So Matt Jones was timed at 21.7 mph on his touchdown run; which among ball carriers is 2nd in the NFL behind Darrius Heyward-Bey. Do you believe me now that he has good burst or no?

That is certainly carrying the mail. It's surprising out of him from his college days. He fight nagging leg stuff at UF or something?

That was one of the more inane, bizarre games that I have ever watched that also happened to be terrible at the same time.

In the past I was more on his potential... I think 7 years is long enough to determine he may not have the mental ability to be an elite QB

I can at least be objective from time to time

You were doing some **** where you were comparing Stafford to guys of the same age rather than NFL experience and I was laughing at you for doing it.

Like compare Staffords 3rd year in the NFL because he was the same age as Ryan or some **** like that.

And his issue is more than potential, he can't throw a good mid distant ball. I said it years ago. He can bomb 'em and dump 'em off. But the passes you make the most often (the intermediate passes) he stinks at. You can hope that will resolve itself for the first few years, but Stafford was in year 5 and you were still screaming "POTENTIAL!!!"

Yeah - because he was still young (and is still young). He's basically the same age as turnover machine Luck - but everyone thinks he's God's gift to football

I just can't understand why Cousins continues to make these bad decisions. I understand there was no running game last night, but that second interception was just a bad idea to throw the ball there. The receiver was blanketed and they had a nice drive going. Just so frustrating to see a guy as smart as him continue to make the same mistakes.
