Of the cancers to get... that's a "good" one. Hope he recovers well

Yeah I agree. The kind I had was the most common, ie the one they knew the most about, the most about how to treat, etc., If you have to have cancer this is the kind to get, but it does matter which kind of prostate cancer to have, there are actually several types/variations. Also timing is crucial with all cancers. The kind I had was the one they knew the most about and they caught it VERY early. I hope he knows about proton radiation, I highly recommend it for anyone who has any sort of cancer. No cancer treatment is "fun" but if you have to have/get one proton radiation is the kind to get, period!!!

PFF nominates Atlanta as one of the teams to make the playoffs next year that did not this year. Along with NYJ, Oak, Colts, and Jags.

I would agree but the schedule the NFC South has is going to be brutal. Playing the NFC West and AFC West. Saints, Falcons, and Bucs get the privilege to face top defenses like Seattle, Denver, and then Carolina twice. That probably a guaranteed 3 loses for all of us if not 4.

Falcons should makethe playoffs if healthy and they don't bongle this FA. We have a lot of cap room. I would like to sign one of the better free agents out there. I want Irvin, Weddle, or real dream JPP.

Weddle is a man! So he's definitely headed to New England.

So the Skins will probably have to pay Cousins 100M contract, or franchise him for 20M for one season. Interesting spot to be in... Not sure either sounds really good.

I'd offer cousins a team friendly deal and if he doesn't accept then franchise him. So far, he has 1 good season. If he repeats it, then you know he's legit, and offering a 100+ million contract next year is no sweat. No reason to risk being in a situation like Chicago or Cincy, where you're paying elite money for an average QB.

Yep, very dangerous situation. Either franchise him and pay him a ton for 1 year or trying to get a longer term deal without knowing he's a franchise QB or not. If you sign him long term, you better know he's going to play like he did last year in the future. The biggest problem with mid tier NFL teams is paying too much for average to slightly above average QBs like Cutler, Eli, Ryan, Stafford, etc.

QB situation in the NFL is rough. And the Eagles will have some money to spend so they could go and get him. Franchising him is the best option. It may cost you a bit in the long run, but it's worth seeing what they have. There would be virtually no cost difference for the Skins as cutting RG3 would save 16M they'd be able to Franchise him and be fine. They'd have to rework some contracts or make another cut (Culliver and MeSean being the likely targets for both) to do anything else in FA but they should be able to franchise him and pay for picks.

Bruce Allen confirms RG3 leaving.

So where will he go? First thing first it confirms that Cousins will be kept in Washington, no way they nuke the QB position after making the playoffs.

So that puts 2 players as far as "starting" caliber QBs, Bradford and RG3. Osweiler being borderline as he hasn't proven to be a starter.

Teams who need a QB, by need I'm looking at teams with bad QBs who aren't recent top picks or don't have bad release clauses.

St. Louis - Foles doesn't have a good release clause, but he was so awful that saving 750K may be worth cutting him. I don't think it happens though I think they take one more chance on him.
Denver - Depends on Osweiler, if they keep him they won't be active, they may opt to go after RG3 or Bradford though. But assuming a massive payday is coming to Von Miller and they keep him, they'll have almost no money and may not keep Osweiler even.
SF - If they ditch Kap, then they could be in on either RG3 or Bradford. I'll say it doesn't make sense to cut Kap for RG3. 7M is the cut amount and is RG3 even a little bit better than him? Probably not.
Dallas - Could make the move for RG3 if they think Romo has one or 2 seasons left. Romo is obviously better than RG3, but maybe spending 2 years learning the system and learnign from Garrett and Romo will help RG3?
Cleveland - The likely culprit to take RG3 for my money.
Philly - Obviously needs a QB with Bradford leaving. They could keep Bradford of course.
Houston - Likely taker on RG3. Given their game (running) and RG3's texas roots. Houston also has the money.

I think RG3 will get paid pretty well as I think a few teams will via for him.
