REAL FOOTBALL Thread

I remember the posts from the beginning of the season asking whether Vic Beasley was a bust or not.

Now the question is whether he's the NFC defensive player of the year.

I do wonder how short the leash is on him with a healthy Romo waiting and willing.

I think Dallas is more dangerous with Romo. I would love to see him get an opportunity.

The calls have already started. Coming off a loss and a red hot Tampa Bay team next week, let's see how Dak responds.

Again, pathetic game by Dez Bryant.

Judging by his post-game comments, it appears he's finally gotten out of his own head and is just out there playing ball. Good stuff. Hope he keeps it up.

Rams have mailed it in.

Guilty.

Guy is a one man wrecking crew. Exactly what we needed on that DL. The Falcons D isn't complete, but its a damn improved from last year. Like the way Campbell, Jones, Neal, Jarrett and Vic have played. Lights out core right there...

If I'm playing the Cowboys, I'm terrified of Romo with that offense. I don't care about anything else except that Romo is clearly the superior QB right now. If I was them, I would get him in there now to try to get rhythm for the playoffs. The only thing Dak did was complete a pass to Williams when no one was withing 30 yards.

The bench Dak talk is absurd.

Idk if people realize this, but the Giants are a pretty good team.

The Giants are a good team? Based on what? There defense is solid....borderline top 10 and there offense is really bad. The only good team they have beaten all year is the Cowboys.

Yeah I don't think they are as good as their record would indicate. They have no running game, their offensive line is pretty terrible, and Eli Manning is a turnover machine. Their defense is good enough to help the offense out, but they aren't elite. First round exit in the playoffs.

I say that mostly based off their defense. Maybe pretty good is being too kind but sorry, they aren't awful. In any event, the point of the post was it's ridiculous to say Dak should be benched after a road loss to a good defense. Romo has clearly been a bastion of postseason success...
