REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Le'Veon Bell is in beast mode again. I'm not sure I've seen anything like him before.

Adrian Peterson. I've never seen a running back in modern NFL carry a team like AP did in 2012. Minnesota had duke for QB, duke for WR, and a below average defense. They had no business winning 10 games that year, but because of Peterson they did.

Its kinda crazy all the good NFC teams have trash defenses except Seattle and NYG. Cowboys, Falcons, Pack, Lions, Skins. If the Giants had anything resembling a decent offense, they might be faves. If defense "wins," Sea has a great shot.

I'm not convinced Seattle's defense is really that good without Earl.

Green Bay and Dallas are good against the Run. They just don't have much of anything in the secondary. Redskins, Lions, and Falconsthough, they don't really do anything well defensively. The only perk I'd give Atlanta, was not that long ago they were the worst,a nd now they're like 5th worst. SO they improved.

****ty game. Cowboys better than I thought. And Lions can't stop a good WR without Slay. Also need Riddick badly if we want to beat GB. Not looking good

Well wake up.

Sorry but he hasn't.

Adrian Peterson in 2012 had a 458 DYAR.

Bell is a better 2 way back than Peterson, that's for sure. But it's also worth note that Bell has a much better QB than Peterson ever has. Pittsburgh has many other threats that can hurt you (Brown is one of the best WRs in the NFL, Roethlsberger's Mobility, their defense)

In 2012 Peterson carried Minnesota on his back. Minnesota had no business being in the playoffs. Christian Ponder was their QB. PErcy "Migraine" Harvin was their top receiver, their defense was comfortably below average sporting a good run defense but one of the lower pass defenses in the league. Overall they had no business being in the playoffs with the 9th highest total team efficiency. But because of Adrian Peterson they were. While more efficient teams like the Giants, Panthers, and Bears were left on the outside looking in, Peterson carried them to the playoffs on his back.

Washington now controls their playoff destiny, Win and they're in, lose and they're out. With the 5 seed wrapped up, you have to wonder if the Giants don't rest a bunch of guys. Though I bet they'd love to play spoiler in Washington.

There's a highly convoluted way that Tampa can get in, the first 2 pieces fell in place so the odds have to be way up from the 0.26% chance it had of happening before last night's game.

Maybe it's up from .26% to .52% now. 49ers aren't winning in Seattle.
