REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Wish the Falcons took an edge instead of a corner, Their DE depth kind of blows. Would like someone to rotate in with FOwler and McKinley.

Corners suck, but if you can rush the qb then it doesn't matter how good your CB is.

This couldn’t make less sense.

You’d rather draft a 2nd string DE, than a 1st string CB?

That’s a luxury we don’t have, plus the drop off from tier 1 of CBs to tier 2 is bigger than the drop off to DEs right now.

The second will have plenty of edge players worth taking but not at 16.

The NFL sent a memo to potential draftees to not have competitors products on screen for products that sponsor the NFL. Sean Payton went out of hi way to get as many rival products on screen with him. Love it. **** Goodell and the horse he rode in on. Also love the Cesar Ruiz pick. Gives great depth to the OLine this year and keeps the OLine relatively young and cheap going forward considering the Tackles are going to be making 35 million a year combined pretty soon.

Randy Moss is arguably the most talented WR to play the game. I also forgot they had Ben Watson who was a rock solid TE. So Moss, Welker, and Watson

I also forgot about the team Brady had when he had Gronk, Hernandez, Welker, and Branch.

I'll be shocked if Gronk plays 12 games this year, Dude has been wrecked in his career.

I go Megatron as the most talented, but to each his own.

And those two teams had great talent. But he's never had 2 number 1 WRs, an Elite TE1, and an above average TE2 on the same team. And most expect them to take a RB tonight at some point. If they come away with Swift.... goodness gracious.

Gronk isn't an Elite TE anymore. He's not bad, but he's lost more than a few steps and goes down all the time. He was a beast, but what made him a beast hurt him later in his career.

Gimme Gronk, Hernandez and Welker over whatever the bucs have. Not to mention Moss and Welker.

Also no way Megatron is better than Moss. Megatron was a more ridiculous athlete, he was stronger than moss, and probably a better route runner. But Moss had hands for days.

Falcons put their heads into a hole starting on Day 3.... good grief. I do like the first 3 picks though

Yeah, they drafted a bunch of guys who were way over slot. Like 6-7 type guys in round 4. Like the NFL.com profile which are generally nice basically said Mykal Walker is a special teams player, Same with Hawkins. They should have taken Dye with their first pick in the 4th and Sneed or Quarterman with their second 4th pick. It probably won't matter but those are better depth picks.

I'm VERY pleased with the Cowboys draft, all the way from 1-7 and I don't recall the last time I said that about the entire draft. Of course we don't know if any of these guys will work out, let alone all of them, but they really did a good job this draft and we finally have a REAL Head Coach.

I haven't seen Crimson over here lately. I'd be interested if he's as cautiously optimistic right now as I am.

2021 will be a great year to be a Free Agent. Everyone and their grandmother will be asking for a restructure/extention.

Dak is gonna be the richest man in the NFL
