One of the reasons turnovers aren't the end all be all of stats. Consistent turnovers is a thing, but considering Dak's history, last year was more likely the outlier year than this year.
 
Congrats Falcons fans on finally getting rid of Arthur Smith. I know it hasnt happened yet but I cant see it not happening after that **** showl.

This might be the funniest thing I've ever read on this board and that's saying a lot. The Falcons franchise was born to **** easy decisions like this up. It's why anyone with a brain doesn't take them seriously. I personally hope the Falcons hire Prime. If it's going to continue to be a trainwreck like most of the history of the franchise, at least make it an entertaining trainwreck.

Yeah, I mean my one small hope I have, Falcons under Blank don't usually fire coaches, and the only oen that I believe happened late inthe season was Reeves who asked to be let go. QUinn is the only coach fired, but it was after he shoudl have been fired in the offseason and probably would have without COVID.
 
Chase seems hurt. Bengals would be wise to start tanking. Get a good pick and hopefully get an impact defender. Offense is sick, but defense needs work.
 
Eagles are very meh and it wa the same way in their cakewalk season last year.

Niners would have ripped them to shreds in the NFC title game last year if Purdy played.

Hurts was sick and their defense was better last year.

Eagles defense getting hot would be bad news for the rest of the NFL.

Blank lets coaches hang around longer than they should for sure. Especially when he likes the coaches. Mike Smith and Dan Quinn were both well liked by Blank but both were held around longer than they should have. The wheels had come off long before they were fired.

Blank had less affection for Mora after he talked about the University of Washington being his dream job. Blank felt being the head coach of the Falcons should be his dream job. So his leash was shorter.

Blank likes Arthur Smith. I believe Blank is friends with Smith's dad and Smith is comfortable in the world that Blank lives in. Smith isn't a kid from the wrong side of the tracks with a chip on his shoulder to prove himself and who has dedicated himself to football. That kind of person would not get along well with Blank. Smith is probably just as comfortable discussing investments or his golf game with Blank as he is discussing football. And I honestly think that might buy him another season.

The wheels have clearly come off for Arthur Smith but there doesn't appear to be any sign of smoke from Flowery Branch indicating Smith's seat is white hot. This situation seems to be taking the Mike Smith/Dan Quinn route which makes me believe Arthur Smith gets another season to prove himself.

A good illustration that highlights the argument of "Purdy has open receivers" is silly. Receivers are open on 75% of plays if the QB can read the defense and throws with accuracy/anticipation.

Having open receivers catch balls is as much a QB skill as it is playcalling/ability of playmakers.

Who knows. Jalen is coming up at the right time. You can get by with a meh secondary if your line is getting to the QB.

LBs you're not really wrong but IIRC there wasn't that much change between last year and this year.
