Allen, Tua, Lamar, and Dak. Those were the top Qbs a season ago in the regular season.

In what way for Tua better than Purdy last year?

Tua is also the one guy you could argue that has the weapons that Purdy does as well.

I don't agree with Tua. He's worse than Purdy for sure. But there's no way T-Law is anywhere near top 5.

Lamar, Allen, Mahomes, Goff, Purdy, Dak, and Stafford all for sure over T-Law, I'd also put Stroud, Tua, and Hurts too.

Purdy vs Tua (2023):

TD: 31/29
INT: 11/14
Yards: 4300/4600
Yards per attempt: 9.6/8.3
Air Yards per attempt: 9.92/9.22
YAC: 13.9/13.7 (Shows that its not just guys like Deebo helping Purdy)
QB Rating: 113/101
QBR: 72.8/60.8

Purdy also had almost 120 less attempts.

There is just no way to make the case that Tua was better than Purdy and a case could be made that Purdy was MUCH better than Tua.

I just think it looks a lot different if his receivers weren't dog**** last year.

Not sure what the debate is on Purdy and Dak. I’m also guessing you haven’t seen the amount of TD drops the Jags receivers had last year.

You can spin whatever you want for Trevor L, but he wasn't not a top 3 or 5 or maybe even a top 10 QB last year. Purdy and Dak are certainly not better than Allen or Mahomes....at the very least.

They were better than them last year - And thats all I'm saying.

One mans opinion (just not supported by the stats).

Nobody would argue though that Mahomes/Allen are the top QB's int he league though (until the end of this year when Purdy takes the throne!)

Trevor Lawrence was 17th in QBR last year. How is it not supported by stats?

Calvin Ridley isn't dog****. At least he wasn't in ATL he routinely had 60+ catch% when Matty Ice was his QB.

BTW went to check too, T-Law was tied for 9th in drops. with 15 less drops than Mahomes had. PFBref had him having the most bad throws in the NFL last year, with only him and Bryce in the triple digits. His on target% was on par with the running QBs (Lamar, FIelds, etc.)

Put Mahomes or Allen on San Fran and they are a 15-17 win team who is expected to win the whole damned thing.
