What kind of contract will the great QB Purdy get this off-season. Since he is the GOAT I am thinking 5 years 400 million
Falcons expected to cut Cousins before his roster bonus is due, per Schefter. Would be 65M pre June 1 but i dont think they have the cap room to eat it all right now. Post June 1 is 40M now, and 25M in 26.
Disagree. Not only is Rodgers better, but he's more healthy and comes with less financial risk.
It'd have to be pretty substantial overpay in draft picks for Lamar to be better option than Rodgers.
Just a quick bumpy of this when I said the Jets trading a 1 for Rodgers and not Lamar is really stupid.
Eh, Ravens probably match any offer for Lamar. So i dont think it really matters anyway. But as Kanye said, i guess we'll never really know.
Gotta love being a lions fan.
One of the best teams in a decade and, break lead the league in wins all year, break franchise records, overcome historic injuries, and still have a win or die game in week 18 for the division and 1 seed.
Penix has looked like a rookie the first two games, but he’s made some incredible throws. Promising
That was a rough game from Morris, IMO. Let the first and 2nd halves end with timeouts in his pockets. Just very odd clock management.
Penix was really inconsistent but overall decent. Lots of missed throws but made some really clutch throws when he needed to. Im not sure he can run (or wants to) with all the injuries he's had. Thought the defensive scheme was pretty good. Offensively, they probably should have run the ball more, the Commanders cannot stop the run.
But, Daniels is incredible. Its wild to see how nothing seems to faze him and he seems to step up in the clutch. Commanders have a ton of money and Peters seems to draft pretty well but we need corners and WRs really bad.

Odd clock management is being kind. It was an absolutely epic screw up by Morris. He said he hoped to get the snap off quicker and save a time out. There's 30 seconds on the clock and you have 2 time outs. What are you saving them for?!?!
Raheem Morris was a disaster in Tampa and wasn't great as the interim coach for Atlanta. He got this job because he was supposed to have learned and grown under McVay. This season he's shown he's the same disaster he was with the Bucs.
Honestly, the Falcons should fire him. There's zero reason to keep him around. He has an atrocious resume as a head coach and this year has only shown he's still that bad. You gotta hire him and Fonentot and move on.
They won't. They'll give Morris 3 years at least, maybe more.

Game management is one piece of the puzzle. He's also done some good as well. I think every team in the NFL would benefit from a time management person in the coaches ear. He was stuck with an old and injured QB that they paid a billion dollars to. (funny how he wore his helmet all night like he was gonna get inThey lack a lot of high end talent on the defensive side (when you draft skill position players with every premium pick, that will do it), but they have established a solid foundation on defense (game plan was excellent last night). On offense I thought they did a lot of good things but Penix showed his inexperience. He looked outstanding on some key throws but missed a ton of easy throws. He seems to be a good developmental piece so he should go into next year as the starter.
I blame the GM way more than anything for Atlanta but they have put together a competitive team.
