LMAO, no he wouldn't. Great Qbs are great QBs, regardless of coach. Stafford was a easily a top 10 QB before coming to the Rams. He's had 2 amazing years in LA and the rest of the time his stats have been on par with what they were in Detroit (honestly a little worse). He still has a great arm even at 38 that allows him to make throws into tight windows.

He is far more talented than Ryan ever was which is why his career didn't go south as he got older. Unlike Ryan who fell off a cliff once his talent faded. It was blatantly obvious Ryan was cooked after 2020. His throws noticeably lacked zip.

You keep bringing this up, which is stupid. Douglas was a 1 receiver because of volume in a year where Julio was out for most of the year and Roddy White was clearly in decline. He had 132 targers. I hope to God he could break 1k with that many targets. Ryan Tannehill made Brain Hartline a 2 time 1k yard receiver. I guess Tanne is an amazing QB too.

Calvin Ridley was a no. 1 WR. Ryan didn't make him into anything.

Kupp and Puka are the equivalent of Julian Edelman and Wes Welker. They are talented guys, but they are what they are because of who was throwing them the ball. You wouldn't know either of their names if they were drafted by the Bears or Cardinals or someone like that.

Calling Kupp and Puka equivalent to Edelman and Welker is hilarious. First Welker isn't comparable to Edelman, Welker wa sa much better receiver than Edelman. But you do realize that Kupp and Puka are YAC machines. They're beasts at making catches and getting more yards after catch. Edelman was never that. Edelman was like a short Travis Kelce, he was there to get open and catch the ball.

Kupp was a great receiver with Goff too, he just wasn't healthy.

Stafford had Tron and basically no one else until Golden Tate arrived. And they only played together for 2 seasons. Detroit also had garbage rushing games nearly every year Stafford was there. So it was mostly just Calvin Johnson and no one else until Tate showed up. I suppose Brandon Pettigrew was reliable, but he was far from a top tier tight end.

Ryan had one top end TE. Then he had Levine Toilolo, Jacob Tamme, Austin Hooper, Hayden Hurst, and Kyle Pitts.

Well, in 2024 Lions offense scored 33.2 points and averaged 409 yards per game. In 2016 Falcons averaged 33.8 and 415 yards

In every aspect of the game Ryan in 2016 was far superior to Goff in 2024. Goff's offense was buoyed by their running game too which was exceptional. Falcons offense was driven through Ryan.

I love Matt Ryan… I have a Matt Ryan jersey. Easily my favorite Falcon of all time. Watched most of his games. I’m a huge UGA fan too… watched all of Stafford’s college games and certainly have followed his pro career closely. Overall, Stafford is clearly the better QB and was easily the 2025 MVP.
