And if we don't win it all this season it's a complete bust. This will be out last chance with this core group. Since money bags Kaep couldn't care less about actually winning like he claimed.

Better top talent, Niners have better depth talent. Both have great talent around them.

Again, the 49ers offensive talent was overrated last year. Hunter was not the same recovering from his injury. I love Gore but he is getting older. The offensive line was overrated. Crabtree was not in full gear till the playoffs and VD was hurt for 3-4 weeks during the season.

This year Kaep has no excuses. If he doesn't have a big year than he just isn't a big time QB. He has GREAT weapons.

Most guaranteed money by a quarterback of all time.

All QB's take big money. Kaeps just looks bad now because he is hte first one to sign a deal after the release of the future cap increases. The organization believes in Kaep becoming a top 5 QB. If you believe that then this deal is a no-brainer.

I know the Bears defense sucked this year, but they were the best in the NFL last year. As far as weapons, what do you call Marshall? Forte? Jeffery?

Cool, he had those for 2 years. (really one because Jefferey did nothing as a rookie) For awhile, his options were Earl Bennett, Johnny Knox, Roy Williams, Devin Hester.

Brees, Peyton, Rodgers, and Brady. Top four and not in order.

Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, Tony Romo, Rivers, Wilson, and Kaepernick.

He's borderline top ten.

2013 Cutler had better weapons, in 2012 Kaepernick had way better weapons.

That's why I put them as about equals. When fully healthy they're basically equals.

I posted stats from the last 2 years. Soooooooooooooooooooooo

Are you saying Cutler is scarred from being good because of his past?

Top 5? L.O.L.

2012 was his first year starting though. He did have better weapons for sure and he had an awesome year for a first year starter. Last year his lull in production directly coincided with injuries to the talent around him plus a nagging foot injury he was dealing with that prevented him from running.

In 2012 he had Marshall and that's it. Jeffery was a rookie and was nothing yet. Earl Bennett was his other WR.

Cutler and Kap being equal isn't outrageous, but I'd certainly take Cutler. Give him the lead, play-action ability, etc. and I'd take him.

Peyton
Brady
Rivers
Brees
Ryan
Wilson
Brady
Romo
Rodgers
Big Ben
Stafford
Luck
Cam
Cutler
RG3

How many guys on that list is he better than?

Cutler, Cam, RGMe for sure. Then he's in the argument with Stafford, Big Ben, Luck, and Wilson. Maybe even Romo depending on how Romo's future goes.
