Our local club team looked better than the Skins.

Lions looked like a great team, but lets curb it until they play someone other than the NYG. They are a pure dumpster fire. Hard to gauge until the competition level bumps up, but early returns are positive. Also- (deep breath) HOW THE F DO YOU LOSE MEGATRON IN COVERAGE?

Stafford looked slimmer and improved. No longer doing his best Jared Lorenzen impression.

Agreed, but I recall GF calling us a horrible team just a couple weeks ago.

Staff looked much improved. The Giants defense is not a weakness. Our new OC has brought over the Saints playbook and early returns look good obviously. Golden Tate should help get Calvin get more sing coverage.
 
Tate was a great signing and Stafford made those big plays on Monday. I've always been a big Stafford fan. One of the few QB's in the league who have all the physical tools.

Nah, Skins didn't look too bad. Moved the ball well vs. a tough defense, but you can't fumble twice near the goal line and give up a punt block for a TD.

Staffords problems have always been mental...footwork, throwing the ball blindly into coverage; etc. As well as eating too much cake.

Even as far back as UGA, he was supremely talented, but fell short of expectations. He certainly has the chance to put it all together.

Will never happen. Unless the Lions had a legit stud next to Megatron (like Julio, Green, etc.) you don't even think about pulling off your double/bracket coverage off Megatron, that would be moronic.

Correct, Tate should just be productive. He wouldn't pull coverage from anyone.

It happened two nights ago.

And when they went back to double coverage, Tate burned them for 90 yards. If Ebron figures some things out, defenses are gonna have their hands full.
 
It appears John Abraham will be retiring, informed the Cardinals he will be leaving the team as he is suffering from memory loss and just had another concussion on Sunday.

Any team with a brain wouldn't double tate. you're a moron if you single or zone Megatron because of Golden Tate. A good 2 doesn't take away from arguably the best WR to ever play the game.

We know how it works, we are just saying no DC ever has said " Lets just single coverage that Calvin schmuck, that Tate guy is where its at"
