Vikings have placed Adrian Peterson on Commissioner's exempt list, meaning he's shelved until further notice

During his time on the Commissioner's exempt list he will be required to stay away from the team and handle his personal situation

If you ever want to take the course in "How Not to Handle a Crisis 101," simply review the actions of the Vikings' front office over the past week. The Wilf's are pure garbage. To send Spielman before the press with an excuse-laden and inconsistent given previous team actions toward players response was totally ridiculous.

What has Wilson done? I guess nothing besides win a Superbowl and you can say "D carried him" but then I will go back and say then how come Kap didn't win or any other QB with a stacked D? He also had a 8.2 Y/A last year.....he just threw it 200+ times less than every other QB

Cam, we have done this dance countless time....not going to do it again. Cam has the least talent around him on O of any competitive team. If there is a team with worse talent on O, on a supposed "contender" let me hear it.

Wilson is a very good QB. But he isn't the focal point of his team. He isn't even the focal point of his offense. Kapernick was really close to winning a Superbowl except that Flacco had the game of his life. And not throwing it as much is important. If you're not the focal point teams are gearing up for a different part of the game and it lets you have less pressure and makes your job easier. When the safeties are playing up cause of Lynch, it's easy to throw over top of them.

Maybe the issue with the talent around Cam has to do with Cam though? Maybe the difference between TY Hilton and brandon LaFell is the QB? Steve Smith was every bit as good as Wayne is now. Smith so far has been killing it in Baltimore maybe he still had plenty in the tank. Olsen is a solid TE. I don't buy the Cam has no weapons. And Carolina's defense has been excellent most of the time as well. They have a solid run game as well. Hardly devoid of talent.

Bwahahahahah.........You don't "buy" that Cam doesn't have talent? Seriously........

His RB's were De'Angelo Williams / Johnathan Stewart / Mike Tolbert.....the only one with a Y/A over 4 was Williams at 4.2

His WR's were Greg Olson / Steve Smith / Brandon LaFell and Tedd Ginn

Again........name a "contender" with worse weapons.

What does talking about other QBs have to do with RG3? (LOL off a pile of dog****) Can I not talk about other teams offensive lines bc the Redskins have a **** OL? Can you not talk about any team bc you root for the ****ty Falcons that have never done anything in the NFL? Is that how it works? So maybe 3 posters can talk about the NFL in here.

Just don't exclude your team when talking about disasters under center.

Colts last year. Wayne went down in week 7 so for over half the season he had Hilton, Fleener, and Heyward-Bey as the top receivers, his Rbs were Trent Richardson and Donald Brown

Donald Brown was better than any RB on Carolina with a 5.3 average, a full yard better than Williams. Trent is ass

TY Hilton is MUCH better than any WR Cam had.....He put up 300 more yards than Smith. Fleener for as much as he sucks, had 100 less yards than Smith.

Harry Douglas had more receiving yards than Steve Smith, do you think that Harry Douglas is a better WR than Smith? Or were his numbers reflective of his QB? When Hilton became the 1, he got more targets and when he got more targets he got more yards. Really freaking simple. And Donald Brown is a good backup RB, that's it. Brown has a high y/a cause he's not out there grinding. Brown's 5.3 Y/A totaled him 537 yards. DeAngelo rushed for 843 yards. Y/A is only part of the picture. Also in 2012 Steve Smith had just shy of 1200 yards and this year he's sitting at 94.5 Y/G, obviously small sample, but isn't it perhaps indicative of Cam's abilities?

Your definition of disaster is interesting.

Dude is out for the second time in three years with a major injury after trading a boat load for him. His backup is crap according to your own mouth. You have stated how bad Cousins is numerous times on here. Even ridiculing the Falcons about getting burnt by him even though we won (which is odd).

It's not a huge deal, but it's a clear sign of immaturity. And after paying him 100 million to be my future and face of my team, I'd expect a little more professionalism there. It was a penalty that hurt his team. And he wants to deny that it happened? Lying about it is just further adds to the immaturity.

"But the player Kaepernick appeared to be jawing with, Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston, said he didn’t hear Kaepernick say anything inappropriate. Hayes was apparently the only one who heard anything. Unfortunately for the 49ers, Hayes was the one with the flag in his pocket."

It's indicative of the fact that Carolina has 0 Weapons at WR other than a 50 year old 5 foot Steve Smith. Also, at this point in their careers, yes...I 100% take Harry over Steve Smith. Hilton was a 3rd round pick that had hype around him, he went in the 3rd because he went to Florida Intl, he's not some scrub that Luck turned into a 1,000 yard WR.

Flacco, Eli (twice), Brad Johnson, and Dilfer have won SB's.

Wilson had a stat line of 9/18, 108 yards, and they won in the playoffs.

He is not asked to do as much as the other QB's, yet.

But he does look much improved this year though.

Smith, LaFell, Ginn, with Olsen at TE isnt awful.

Sure, not great but its a solid group.

As for what contenders are worse, i dont know.

QB's do make their WR's/TE's better, it's been proven over time.

How do our QB numbers this year compare to other teams?
