REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Dez Bryant is a totally different guy than when he first came in the league. He even speaks and enunciates a lot better. He's so far from a diva WR and is far more concerned with winning than anything else. And he's unstoppable on the field.

Titans are soo bad. Gained only 236 yards on a defense that is bad when fully healthy, but now missing starting NT, DE, ILB, OLB, #1 corner, #3 corner. Wow.

But, hey, if that isn't bad enough they let a 3rd stringer QB come in and shred their defense.

Titans are very bad. To be fair, we ran Charlie Whitehurst out there at QB. But still, we aren't more than a 6-7 win team even with a healthy Locker. With Whitehurst, we are more of a 2-3 win team.

We are in the midst of a transition to a 3-4 this yr, but regardless our defense is bad anyways. Only good players on D currently are McCourty and Casey. Rookie Avery Williamson looks to be a good one but too early to tell.

On offense, we have probably the most expensive OL in the league and they are extremely medicore. We have play makers on offense, but no one to get them the ball. Locker teases with good play, then he gets hurt and misses games or plays injured doesn't perform as well. Whitehurst is not a good back up QB.

Hopefully we finish with a top 5 pick and Wiz can actually get some talent on this team, something the last coaching staff completely failed to do.

I think the Falcons are gonna challenge for a top 5 pick pretty easily. With the OL injuries, they have no ability to do anything, and the D is constantly on the field.

Like I said a couple weeks ago. There are an abnormal number of really bad teams this season.

Jets, Jaguars, Raiders, Titans, Bucs, Falcons, and Vikings. Throw in the Redskins and Rams, although I think they are a tad better than the other teams. So that's 7 with a legit shot at the first pick.

I don't understand what Peyton Manning has done to deserve any sort of hate. He certainly isn't a bad person, or doesn't come off that way.

Steelers could have a few last runs in them if Ben holds up. They need OL and WR\TE help, but they have some very good pieces in Brown and Bell.

How about when he sat his bare ass on a trainers face and was charged with sexual assault, but it got swept under the rug?

The Falcons are a better team than the Redskins and Rams. The thing that sucks for them is they've had just about the worst luck with injuries on the OL.

As opposed to the Redskins that lost their QB plus half the starting defense?

With both squads fully healthy, I expect ATL to beat Wash in that scenario. I don't have anything except past success to base that on and how RG3 was playing up until the point he inevitably got hurt, but thats just my gut.

With the way the Rams played (defensively) at the end of last year, I was one who thought with adequate QB play would make them dangerous.

Skins almost beat Atlanta last year with Cousins at QB.

But they didn't.

"Almost" almost never counts.

True, the point is that they almost won with that crap starting at QB. Fully healthy team may be different.

Im not saying the Skins are a better team than the Falcons, but I don't think anyone could say "The Falcons are definitely better." Because the Falcons are pretty terrible.

They are not better than the Rams.

Rams have a better OL, better DL, better LB's, and better DB's.

Redskins/Falcons is hard to say though.

Rams are a really good team. You can't win anything in this league without a QB. Maybe Austin Davis can be that guy who ends up being a 15-20 level QB.
