REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Murray had surgery on his hand but it was his left hand, wonder if he'd wear a cast if he plays Sunday?

Saints lost a bunch of games that they led with less than 2 minutes left mostly because of horrific play calling like passing the ball when up by 10 with 2.5 minutes left in the game.

Saints haven't been very good. But they played a heck of a game tonight. Shut down Forte enough and didn't try running it up and helped me win one of my fantasy games during my hell week.

Sean Payton has been Fredi Gonzalez level bad this year.

Eh, Mike Smith has blown like 3 games himself.

Falcons need to either win out, or lose out, no in betweens. If they win out, they win the division and you have a ticket to the show, if they lose out they're guaranteed no worse than the 9th pick in the draft, which is enough to lock into a DE or OT who should start for them.

That's insane. I think I like the idea of 9th. Maybe snag Gregory there.

Geaux Saints!!

Yeah it wouldn't have hurt my feelings if the saints lost tonight and lost the rest of the games to get a better draft pick. All I wanted when this season started was a home playoff game vs the Seachickens. Faced those turd burglars 3 times in a row in a Seattle and both playoff games I think home field was the difference maker.

Saints are gonna win their playoff game. It's gonna be funny to see it happen too.

Right now the Saints/Falcons are set up well for a playoff run. They get Seattle on the road, who aren't very good away from Seattle, Then they get either Dallas or Arizona who're flawed teams. NFC has insane parity this year, but the only team I don't want to hit is Green Bay.

Seattle isn't losing though. They will win the west and the very worst will be the 3 seed. They south winner is playing the 5 seed, which looks like the Cardinals at this point. All things considered I can see the Cardinals losing in round 1.
