I forsee a 4 game suspension. He better hope Grappalo doesn't play well because at Brady's age, he could be out of NE by next season.

Didn't he just win the Super Bowl?

I don't think Brady is all that worried about losing his job.

I'm sure Bledsoe wasn't worried either before Brady took his job. Neither was Peyton. Or Montana. Each QB had different situations obviously, but each QB was replaced by a younger QB after they had missed some time.

More than Rice got? Not likely. Wasn't he originally dinged two games?

That was before the video came out.

I think Goodell will try to make an example out of him for cheating and then lying during the investigation and refusing to hand over his phone.

Hand over my phone? damn if I don't blame him.

You named 3 examples that span 3 decades. That's not exactly a common occurrence.

I agree on 4 games. I think it would have been 2 if not for the fact that Brady lied and misled the investigator. I also think Brady's legacy has been tarnished because he chose to lie about this incident. Had he just been more open about it, I think he could have gotten away with it. I mean he won the superbowl in impressive fashion without a tainted football. That would have been an easy sell. Now it's just embarrassing to this point. Do he and his handlers really think we're all moronic enough to not think he had anything to do with this. I would also punish Kraft for the comments he made after the investigation was released.

My punishment would be as follows:

- Brady - 4 games and a huge fine
- Patriots - No draft picks in the next draft since this is the team's second major infraction. Yeah that's right. No draft picks in the next draft. In college football you would get the death penalty if you screwed up whilest under probation. This is essentially the same thing.
- Kraft - Banned from all team activities for 1 season

The second two I added strictly because of Kraft's comments about the investigation. They are harsh, but I personally think Kraft's comments were a huge black eye on the NFL.

No, his team won the SB, football is a team sport.

They didnt draft him to sit on the bench.

If Brady is suspended for a bit and Garapolo does impress, you'd be stupid to think Bill would not consider dealing him.

Reminds me of the people who thought the Saints would do so well while Payton was on vacation that he might be out of a job. Dont count your chickens before they hatch.

He would consider dealing him, just like the Saints would consider dealing Brees, but the asking price will be way too rich for anyone.

And Brady has lead the Pats to 4 superbowl victories. He's hardly the type you throw to the curve over a few good games from a rookie. If the Pats lost Brady for the year and they tanked but Garoppolo played well. Then maybe they consider it as a rebuild like the COlts with Peyton. But there's no way that happens. Even without Brady, New England is a 500 team. Now maybe if they lose Brady and Belichick for the season you have a shot.

1. The organization has cheated in the past and denied it.
2. They do lowball plays, actually legal, to gain advantage, the NFL wisely stopped that now.
3. In the biggest game of the year, with rain and his little hands, he couldn't grip the ball like he could and thinking he is all that and then some bend the rules.
4. He lied about his involvement on SEVERAL levels.
5. Basically is pissed in the NFL face and dare them to bring him down and they could.
6. Would day? I don't know, but the text evidence already proved he lied and denied it. To me as investigator is a smoking gun. Willing to lie to save face. But I know why he admitted it. Fans love him, I don't know why, he is a dick, and he doesn't want his career to go down as a cheater. That was established years ago. He tried to keep his imaged. The damage is done.

You FU*CKING cheating ass bastard.

He's 38, most QB's are typically done around 39-40, so if a team offered a conditional 1-2, and other stuff, it's something to consider.

Most quarterbacks don't make it as starting quarterbacks. Those that do are done in the early to mid 30's. Those that are great finish at all different times and not a single one of them has played in the era Brady has where quarterbacks aren't allowed to be touched.

The point is that Brady is an anomaly that doesn't have a comparison. Garapollo may well end up being Brady's heir apparent, but I doubt that's a serious conversation right now after Brady played excellent last year and led his team to a Super Bowl. Brady is arguably the most popular Boston athlete ever. Even if the value makes sense, you don't trade somebody like that for a conditional second round pick.

What you are saying makes sense in Madden, but very little in real life.

And a bender of rules, aka cheater. Just like ARoid, lied. When you lie, you lose all creditability you've built. Man up small hands small dick and say yeah, I've bent the rules, so what. He couldn't even say that. I would respect him totally if he said that. It is like, the elements was against me and I tried to use an advantage I could muster.

There is a broad sweeping generalization that all cheaters are equal.

There's a lot of hungry sharks circling Brady in the water right now. I hope you guys get the justice you so desperately demand.

Oh, so he's gonna play 20 more years at an elite level, ok got it.

Most popular or not, it's a 53-man roster, not 1 player roster like you seem to think. They re-did his contract to make it easier to let him go incase of anything happening.

If the right offer came along, Bill would consider it, besides, i believe Bill wants to prove he can win without Brady.
