REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Falcons T, Mike Johnson carted off.

Players had to help him up, sounds reallllly bad.

Yeah, football is ridiculous. I was listening to an interview with Mike Westoff on ESPN saying how there USED to be a drug problem and that was shown by all the injuries happening in the 80's and 90's.

Maybe I was too young then but I think there are MORE injuries now.

Jonathan Ogdan about to kill a 16 year old, or Hulk SMASH!!

Falcons need to address their offensive line if they want their 100 million dollar man to make it out of the first year of that contract!

Not too bad lately. Peyton, Eli, Scam, Stafford, Cutler. That's 5 starting QB's in the NFL. All of them above average QB's

No

Eli, Stafford and Peyton are above average, (Peyton obviously being amazing) Scam is right around average, Cutler is below average. If Cutler is above average then there are about 25 QBs in the NFL who're above average, like Carson Palmer, Christian Ponder, Josh Freeman, and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Yeah the Falcons OL got raped but the Bengals do have arguably the best front 7 in the NFL. Not everyone has that.

I think Cutler is much better than those guys you listed there at the end.
And is that really "lately" carp? Peyton was drafted in 98, Eli 2004.

He really isn't. I mean maybe marginally. But with Brandon Marshall he had a 5.9 NY/A 4.4 TD% 3.2 INT% Fitzpatrick 6.05 NY/A 4.8 TD% 3.2 INT% Palmer at 6.46 NY/A 3.9 TD% 2.5 INT% Freeman 6.68 NY/A 4.8 TD% 3.0 INT% and Ponder 5.34 NY/A 3.7 TD% and 2.5 INT%. Of course they played varying defenses, but basically Cutler is living off his rep from Denver since becoming a bear he hasn't done much of anything.

AJ Jenkins continues to show how terrible of a draft pick he was. Only pass thrown his way he actually catches and then he fumbles. He was open a few other times and nobody looked his way. Guy is bad news and needs to figure it out, or he will be out of a job.

Numbers get you off don't they?

Cutler has played behind some of the worst OL's in football since his arrival in Chicago. Thats pretty well documented. His offensive weapons included Marshall (just recently) and....................... Matt Forte?

Not that Fitz was better but cmon. OL is where it stops and starts.
