REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Living in the thick of Saints territory, this is not going to be a fun few days.

This could be an ugly few weeks for the Cowboys. I'm not feeling good about playoff chances right now.

Think you are overreacting. Dallas will make the playoffs because they play in the worst division assembled. 8-8 wins and gets a home playoff game.

Falcons legit? I haven't seen them hitting on all cylinders like this in a while, maybe ever. I am not just asking this because the starters pitched a shutout vs Houston, but the D has been MUCH improved and the offense is killing it as well.

They are looking pretty good, but as of now they haven't played anyone. Not their faults at all, but Philly sucks and Dallas was fielding a mash unit. You win against whoever is on your schedule and they have done that.

I think its due to them being one of the best NFC teams that had a fairly easy schedule early on. (Giants, depleted Cowboys, Texans, Eagles) Now they get very winnable games vs. Skins, TB, SF, NO, etc.)

Schedule was one of the reasons I bet on them to have over 8.5 wins. THey could easily win over 11-12.

We'll see how they play on the rd in the winter months. If they can get HFA in the playoffs it would be huge.

The NFC will probably go through Lambeau, but the Falcons have the easiest schedule I think I have ever seen. It's a joke when you break it all down.

I looked at it yesterday, toughest games look like Min, Indy, and at Car, NO (short week), rest is cake.

12-14 wins is possible depending on health.

You miss that easy sack on 3rd and long and then allow two huge plays...

Don't deserve to beat anyone if you can't do the basics

Going to be an exciting race for the number one pick. 49ers, Lions, and Browns are looking great to secure that spot. 49ers play both these teams so they control their own destiny.

Detroit is still an undisciplined team and that is why they can't win. Their coaching staff is poop and the players constantly making dumb penalties is a result of that.

The Lions, while awful... have had a very tough schedule to start. Road games against SD, Minn, and Sea, and home against Den. Plus next week is Ari. After that, the schedule opens up quite nicely, not that it will matter by then

This clearly doesn't look like the same Seahawks team from the last couple years. They still have a great defense (though Detroit doesn't have a great offense). I think, however, I'd take three teams from the NFC before Seattle.

They're defense is fine... they have allowed nothing but punts on like 29 of last 30 possessions.

Their offensive line is bad though
