Lol at Gilesfan and Niners thinking Wilson is overrated. He should finish the year with 4500+ total yards and right around 35 total TDs. Completion percentage near 70%. Highest passer rating in the league. And all this with Graham and Lynch on the sidelines most of the year.

Wilson has played very well this year; no one is arguing otherwise. When they can grab a lead, there aren't a ton of QBs you would take over him. When they get behind and he has to throw every down, there are several QBs I would take over him. He's a good QB.

Did I say Wilson was overrated or even mention him? I said he had a run game and a defense to help him. Something Luck has never had.

What else was Gruden supposed to say? That they intentionally called a kneel down coming out of a timeout while in FG range?

Something like "I'm not sure what happened, I'm gonna talk to Kurt and see where I wires were crossed" Or something like that.

Congrats gilesfan. Didn't think the Redskins would win the East, but they did. Cousins, aside from the end of the half brain fart, played very well.

I'm not sure how that's much different than what he said.

There was simply no way to back the player there without looking like an insane person

Cousins looks for real. He's played very well this yr. It feels like the redskins have solved their QB problem. Gotta pay him now though

What he said was he called this play and cousins screwed up. Putting the entire onus of the screwup on cousins. And it very well may have but there was a call screwup somewhere. Because everyone was kneeling. And to me if I was on the field I would have told the QB no in the huddle.

On top of that it's a dumb call to even call the pass in that scenario because what if Cousins is sacked? Or the snap is botched (which already had happened) The only time you do that is if you have a time out

No matter how much evidence there is and will be, it won't hurt Mannings good guy image.
Mainly because of his image it's hard to believe he would want to do anything to hurt it in the last leg of his career. Buying HGH and other drugs in his wife's name would be beyond stupid and he's never seemed the self-destructive type. For now I don't believe it.

Nobody else was kneeling. Hell, it wasn't even supposed to be a spike... it was coming out of a timeout. That's 100% on Cousins to a point where there is not even a point in trying to defend him. The fade call is the right call bc a sack is nearly impossible and a botched snap almost never happens. You have 6 seconds to score a touchdown, and you're not trying?
