But he's one guy. And it's debatable if he's close to those guys. Harrison was not the most physicallygifted but he ran amazing routes and he had glue hands. Wayne was a total package.

I think they need to prove it over a full season, but strictly from a receiving standpoint, Thomas/Welker/Decker/Thomas could be similar or better overall than the guys in Indy. Peyton throwing them the ball will do wonders. They will all have insane numbers.

They will but it's not the same. Wayne and Harrison for like a 2 year period were one of the greatest tandems in NFL history.

Only ones I can think of recently who were close was Moss and Carter (mainly because of how amazing Moss was) and Bruce and Holt.

He is pretty devoid of weapons and his best offensive lineman went down yesterday in addition to his second WR.

Yanda went down?

If Flacco is as good as they paid him to be, he should make his own weapons as the greats do like Rodgers, Peyton, Brady, Brees, even Eli/Big Ben as well.

They wouldn't have if they had Sanchez as their QB. Manning is arguably the greatest QB of all time. He could have made a lot of receivers HOFers.

Jacoby Jones is more of a 3/KR than a number 2.

Still stupid they traded Boldin, he and Flacco had amazing chemistry.

I just don't understand people like you that jump to conclusions based on such little data. Do you remember how good James was? Or Harrison/Wayne/Clark for that matter? They also had Pollard and Stokley.

I don't think it's better simply because of the run game.

James is better than anything we got.

But i think Thomas is more physically gifted than Harrison or Wayne, dude is a monster.

Go broncos. Glad to see other bronco fans on here. The pass rush is still a major concern without Miller. Trevelton, Nate Irvin, and Julius Thomas looking much improved.

Plus they played half the games on turf. Imagine how good the offense would look playing half the games inside on turf.

I have absolutely no clue who to pick in the Saints Falcons game. Falcons are the better team but NO is home and its the coaches comeback. I really feel its a pickem game.

I think NO will win, I'm obviously rooting for Atlanta and hope they win but NO has more at stake in this game than Atlanta. It's a statement game for them, Atlanta can lose this game and still be fine.

Agree with Zito.

Saints need it more than the Falcons but could be a semi statement game for the Falcons to prove they are the cream of the crop.

Saints will win in a shootout. Gonna be fun game to watch for sure.

Denver isn't this good, but they looked great last night. Part of that is how bad Baltimore played though.

Yes they would have. Great WRs are going to be great WRs no matter what. Randy Moss was still a 1,000 yard receiver with Kerry Collins as his QB. Megatron had 1300 yds and 12 TDs the yr the Lions went 0-16.

Great QBs can make inferior talent around them look much better. But HOF players will be HOF players regardless.

Physically gifted doesn't mean better though. Jerry Rice certainly was never the most physically gifted player. But he's without a doubt the best WR of all time.

Two teams who didn't make the playoffs who you think could make it this season?

I have St.Louis from the NFC. They have a very solid defense and had the best division record in the west. Bradford needs to answer some questions and I think this season he will. Jackson is a huge loss and will be tough to replace. The Rams defense should keep them in almost all of their games. The pressure is on the offense for sure.

The AFC had me thinking two teams, but I went with Cleveland. Weeden can manage the game and make a play if need be. Trent Richardson is a man on the football field and a father to 56 children off of it. Again they have a very stingy defense and my only concern is their passing attack. You can load the box and slow down Trent.

NFC's most likely teams are Bears, Giants, and Lions JMO. Depending on Scam or the Saints D they could be in. There will be turnover for sure.

AFC my money is on the cheifs as the shocking team but the more realistic one will be the Squeelers.

The other team I think will surprise people is Kansas City. I went with sort of off the wall picks in St.Louis and Cleveland. Detroit is hard to figure out for sure.
