REAL FOOTBALL Thread

No. I knew we would suck early but should be a real good team come December

Yeah I am all for taking it easy with Gronk. Luckily we got a soft schedule to start the year. Hopefully one of Thompkins or Dobson steps up. Cant believe we got one game out of Amendola before he got hurt. Thats always the risk with him

LOL @ hiding. Yes, 2 child births, a kid in college, a 2000 mile move, running a business. Yes I have been hiding from an internet message board where nobody knows anyone

Crazy how that works.....just perfect timiing....

Get called on a messageboard and then all that happens

Awesome

If gronk was to go on the field it would be more of a decoy. I honestly would put money that no way he plays. He was rushed back and he reinjured the forearm last year. then the back injury, etc. He is essentially the JD Drew of football, when he plays he is one of the best but he can't stay healthy.

2000 miles eh...do you think thats enough?

Run and hide online...pack up and hide in your real life.

But yeah, 2000 miles should do it. You shouldnt run into any co-workers, family, etc

Facing embarrassment has been avoided......for now.

Hey how's baseball going? LOL

Waits for lame arm injury excuse that stopped you from being next big thing

I don't always agree with Michael Irvin but he makes some good points. "No way do you put Brady in this position with these receivers. Total disrespect"

Totally agree, Brady is one of the top 3 best ever, has maybe a few years left, brought the franchise to prominence and this is how they reward him? lets also not forget the biggest thing, taking less money and restructuring(he makes 1 million this year) so they can make the team better. They still have 14.5 million in Cap, well done Belidick/Kraft

Welker didn't want to go back because Belichick is a dick.

That is true. A lot of people think we just low balled him, we didn't. He didn't like BB. The personnel problems started when the GM left and BB took his job. Before, Pioli would challenge BB and help make decisions. There is nobody left to do that. Sure we have gotten lucky in the draft a few times since he left(gronk, Ridley, mayo) but other than that it has been a disgrace in my eyes. He has this obsession with Rutgers University(whose football team sucks) and at one time this year we had 14 of the 21 Rutgers players in the league,on our team. There are only 2 good Rutgers players in the league, Ray Rice and Kenny Britt(when he isn't in trouble) yet BB still keeps signing them. He is a frickin moron

Denver offered a little more but NE offered more guaranteed money IIRC

They Offered 2/12, Pats offered 2/10.

Not much more.

Brady has maybe 3-4 good years left, why not pay a guy he had ridiculous chemistry with, was his security blanket on 3rd downs.

I've seen some Pats fans saying they are planning for the future, Welker is 32, age is just a number.

I heard they offered more as well.
He just didn't want to be there.
