First NFL player applies for therapeutic exception for medical marijuana. I dont think you even need to read the article to know that jackass Goodell would deny it. **** your pain bro, chew down hundreds of pills.... but remember, Goodell deeply cares about player safety.

Oh come on, I 'm sure good old Roger has "lit up" with Mr. James on numerous occasions because he does care about player safety and their quality of life so much. lol

Probably not the best time to ask for a raise, but it does show his level of dedication to "being the best player he can be" assuming the PED test results are true, which with this regime you never know. Personally I think Lord Roger and his evil perverted regime are the only ones that are for sure "on something" even if it's just their delusions grandeur.

Way I see it he will be well rested for the second half and playoff run. Whats he going to do, sit out the first 4 games if he doesnt get a new contract.

here is a story about law enforcement making park rangers life hell for daring to not approve of Snyder cuttimg down trees him the national park. They try to fire him using minor technical violations. The ranger goes to court and the court orders he be returned to his job. So they reassign him to a job 2 hours from his home. When a court orders he be returned to his previous job they send SWAT after him. They accuse him of stralimgngovernment property. The property he is accused of stealing are badges and **** he was given. The government loses when it's revealed his supervisor personally drove the **** to his house and gave it to him. Now after all thisbmalocoous prosecution this guys life was made a living hell. Isn't this the kind of thing the FBI should be looking into? Clearly Snyder used connections/bribes to get law enforcement to do his bidding. Maybe investigate who is on the take? Maybe investigate why the charges were brought in the first place?

Oh you're absolutely right. Everyone in the NFL needs a thorough investigation including offshore accounts, and any other nice secret hiding places for monies they receive outside the "usual legal sources". This also includes officials. There are way too many screwy calls and too many games get changed or at least the point spread gets affected by them. The problem is, who has the actual power to do this properly who can actually be trusted to do it properly?

Somebody else was on the reddit front page. Recently.

these uppity negroes need to show some respect to the slave patrol! There hard working people flood poor black neighborhoods and detain, harass, and fine the poorest people for bullcrap like Jaywalking because they care so deeply about them. They arrest your 16 year old son for smoking pot and put him in a cage to help and protect him. And what's the thanks they get for raping and pillaging their communities? Kneeling during the national anthem. Now I know police have done history here. They used to hunt runaway slaves. Then they enforced Jim Crow laws. They enforced segregation. They brutalized the civil rights movement. All those times we can all look back and say the police were in the wrong, but now, all of a sudden they are the good guys for staunchly defending the status quo.

I was watching some stuff on Deion, and I kind of forgot how great he was. Mainly because by the time he got to Dallas he was more flash than substance. Still made big plays but would routinely not make tackles to avoid getting hurt, etc. But then I remembered when he came into the league for Atlanta he truly was special. He did it all, he made the picks he covered his men, etc. He was a complete player and a playmaker. Truly was special. And not just normal special, like gamebreaking special and it's sad I forgot that because of his great but not legendary stint in Dallas.

Deion was awesome. One of the best athletes ever.

Redskins newly drafted (2nd round) RB just tore his ACL in his first preseason game. And their running game just went back to the suck that was last season's. Lovely.
