REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Stafford just flicks his wrist and the ball goes 50 yards. Sick sick throw to the sideline on that drive.

Pretty ridiculous that the Giants started the season 0-6 and they have a realistic shot at making the playoffs.

Lord have mercy.

Why oh why is my favorite team also the stupidest in the National Football League. I have never seen a team find more ways to lose a football game.:Wall:

They need to move on from Garret. When so many "odd" things happen it comes down to coaching.

At least Romo didn't lose you the game. That's a positive. I can't imagine the backlash is a pic 6 cost you that game.

49ers have just blown out 4 of the last 5 teams they played. They started running Kaep more and I have to wonder if the mysterious foot injury that was talked about early in the year was the reason it took so long to do this. Second half schedule is relatively light. Could be looking at 12 wins with a horrid start.

I'm very happy with my Lions today... Stafford may be the best 4th quarter QB in the game.

Despite 4 turnovers, still scored 31 points. Old Lions would have gotten blown out of the gym

BTW, anybody want to laugh at me some more for saying the 49ers should have gotten a second rounder at least for Alex Smith?

I'll take TWO second rounders thank you very much.

I wouldn't exactly say light... They get Carolina after they bye, and they've been playing better than I (and many others have expected)... then they go to the Superdome to play the Saints. Then they go to DC, and, I am expecting RG3 and the skins to be playing better by then.

After that they also still have games at home against the Seahawks and Falcons... not to mention to division games against the Rams and Cardinals, who also play tough.

The only 'Easy' games I see coming in the second half are against the Bucs and likely the Cardinals, possibly the Rams (but again, they usually play tough).

Calling the schedule 'light' or 'relatively' light, I think, is underestimating the opponents that the Niners have to face from here on out. Things can obviously change and games can easily become 'easy'; but, to me that isn't a light schedule.

It's pretty clear that Garrett is not the answer. You think any other coaches would let Dez Bryant get away with yelling at teammates and coaches the way he does? For as talented as he is, it's embarrassing the way he carries himself. He needs to grow up, but this staff is not the one he'll do so with. It's also clear the game has passed Monte Kiffin by.

The main problem is the owner. As long as his ego continues to not allow him to get someone to make the football decisions, it's not going to change. He has been trying to show that he can put together a winning team ever since Jimmy Johnson left. The results speak for itself. The way he always puts himself into the decision making, what top coach wants that situation? Besides a Bill Parcells, who which also the game had passed by.

As a Cowboys fan, I am sick and tired of watching this garbage. There is no reason why this can't be a successful franchise. Unless something changes, it won't. Just frustrating.

Fair enough. With the way the team is playing though the only games I consider tough are the Saints and Hawks.
