What did the Raiders do that caused SF so many problems right up until the very end? I didn't watch the game but the Raiders aren't that good and they gave the 9ers all they wanted and then some. You can bet the other playoff teams have already been checking out that film and making plans (well except the Cowboys). I really thought we had a real coach for a change when Jerry hired McCarthy but sadly it's just more of the same old same old. To your previous point about the 9ers being so tough having a lot to do with physicality on both sides of the ball. Back when the Cowboys were really good, back during the 90's they dominated both sides of the ball. Sadly Jerry decided to go with flash over substance and you can see the results. McClay I believe his name is, does a lot of their scouting and has a big hand in creating their draft board. Since he's been doing that the Cowboy's drafts have been really good. Unfortunately he can only get them good players, it's up to other people to coach and prepare them and this probably where SF has the biggest advantage of all over most teams, they have an actual head coach and other good people running things instead of fixing Jerry's makeup when he makes his daily "look at me" pressers.
 
49ers have the most high end talent in football. Been listening to a bunch of podcasts the last few weeks for people that follow the nfl for a living and they all agree.

That is why they will be tough to beat. You can't stop all of them.
 
Niners are a great team who's getting hot at the right time, but don't overrate them.

Frist off look at PFF's allpro, niners offensively have 2 representatives (Kittle and Williams both second team) compare to the bills with Flex O AJ Brown, C with Kelce, and RT with Johnson. Really I think the Eagles and Niners are comparable.

But I mean look at the Niners vs. Bills.

Bills have Josh Allen - Even if Jimmy G was healthy, Allen is clearly at an advantage

McCaffery vs. Singletary is an interesting debate, btu McCaffery is better.

Diggs vs. Aiyuk - Clear advantage for Diggs. Aiyuk is good but not on Diggs's level. he could get there, but Diggs is in the debate with Jefferson and Hill as the best in the game.

Davis vs. Deebo - Davis IMO is a massively underutlized weapon. BUT he's stillb etter than Deebo.

Knox vs Kittle - Clear win for niners

Line vs Line - Niners have the better line for sure.

Defensively the 2 teams are close - SF is better, but not by that much.

Special teams - Bills are the best in the league. Niners are mid.

Again, Bills are the best overall team. Niners have amazing depth and quality. But they'll go as far as Purdy will take them. Modern NFL is dictated by QB play. It's why the Chiefs were the number 1 seed with minimal talent.

Don't write the Eagles off. THey're a very good team. The only problem is if they don't have Hurts they're boned. But they get a week off for Hurts to heal some more.

Actually in a lot of ways the Eagles and Niners are similar.

I mean Mahomes is a beast. Dont' write the Bills off because of how they played the Dolphins, remember division rivalry games can be tight. Miami is a much better team than Seattle as well. Even without Tua, they still are throwing to Tyreek and Waddle.
 
Was hoping for a Vikings win. Little more concerned about Dallas than Tampa Bay, but think I’d have preferred Minnesota next week.

Niners absolutely demolished Miami when they were healthier.

Its going to be Chiefs/Niners. No other teams are on the level.
