Yep. No way his shootings were legally anything but self defense, but he was willfully violating the law by carrying his rifle in town, and his whole medic act was obvious BS so he could do it in a crowd in front of a camera. Historically no one would have been prosecuted for murder under similar circumstances, and men would have fought duels over two thirds of the crap spewed on twitter. I think there are benefits to that type of society that our current society could profit from, but his parents know we aren't there anymore and should have kept him out of the situation.

I get your point but what was happening in Kenosha was almost unprecedented. If someone has a hero complex then parents telling them not to do something probably wouldn’t do the trick.
