Rittenhouse trial

I'm confident that this case wouldn't have gone to trial if it hadn't occurred during the Summer of Peaceful Arson, Looting, Assault, and Murder. BLM isn't the DNC, but the media promotion of their rioting occurred because the media perception was that the rioting helped the DNC.

I'm also curious how many stern warnings the judge will give the prosecutors. Isn't this 3 now? One for bringing up the 5th Amendment, one for bringing in evidence the judge had twice excluded, and one today for not providing the defense team the same video the defense essentially made the key to their case. I remember Mrs. Sales teaching us that prosecutors couldn't do that in 9th grade Civics class. This is ridiculous.

The more I see the more splaining this prosecutor needs to do. I dont know why people think that just because a person makes a bad decision to go somewhere they might be in danger means they give up the right to self defense. This reminds me a lot of the Zimmerman case. Should Kyle have been out there? No. Should Zimmerman have tried to follow Trayvon? No. Does that mean they give up the right to self defense if attacked? No.

For the Republicans who want to high step about this case. When you cry about the consequences an innocent person has to suffer despite being found innocent please try and not forget all the other people this happens to all over the country and not just Kyle Rittenhouse. Ask yourself what would have happened in this case if it wasnt so public and Kyle had to go with a public defender and couldnt afford bail. You know what you give up to get a public defender? The right to a speedy trial. He could have sat in jail for years awaiting trial. It happens a lot. In fact its often a tactic of prosecutors to stall the trial and use person being incarcerated as leverage to get them to agree to a plea deal when they arent even guilty. If Kyle was in jail for 2 years and a prosecutor says "accept a plea deal for reduced charges and you can go home tommorrow or we can take this to trial in another 6 months and if we get a conviction we are going to ask for life" what do you think happens. Easy to say what you would do when you are not in the situation.

Tulsi will be part of the new coalition moving forward. We don’t have to agree on everything. Basic human rights is something she is aligned with.

Trumps VP pick in 2024 will be a fascinating story.

This is the type of country the left wants.

Threatening jury’s to get the desired verdict.

NBC, through Stelter at CNN, denied the guy was following the jury. Now this pops on CourtTV

One had a toy gun and was shot by police.

the other had an AR-15 and wasnt

One was a POC the other wasn't.

The contrast is as plain as well, black and white

//////

Willing to bet you had no idea who Tamir Rice was.
Guess we could contrast Tamir Rice with Dylan Roof as well

I am not advocating Rittenhouse or Roof should have been shot
Just pointing out the situational differing methods of policing

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of cases where black men are not shot in the US per day. Should they bring those in as well?

Why would it apply here? Specifically

Why would a court bring in another case of a kid carrying a toy gun to this case? Should we bring in the case of a white guy that WAS shot by policy when he had a gun? If not, why?

…..

Didnt they stop to get to get Dylan Roof Burger King on the way to the jail? I am fine with treating prisoners with some respect but dude was accused of shooting up a church. Wtf.

Wut? Pelosi has done everything possible to fight against the AoC's of the party and everything to promote "moderates" like Biden.

Pelosi oversaw the social progressive takeover of the party, that's why there are no white Democratic congressmen from the South anymore. Heath Shuler actually ran against her for Speaker for that very reason, and then left Congress after losing because his socially moderate views were no longer welcome in the party.

They can’t Call AOC out because they’re afraid that she’ll run against them and win. Pelosi and Schumer are afraid of her power
