Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

If anyone wants to witness some political theater. Personally if I testified in a hearing with Lindsey Graham I would spend the whole time calling him Lady G. Just embarass him the entire time knowing he wants this to be seen by as many people as possible.

Sally Yates is appearing before this committee under oath voluntarily. Curious as to why all these Democrats can appear under oath which Trump calls a "perjury trap" without committing perjury. Hours upon hours of testimony under oath. Zero indictments for perjury.

Lol, when do you get tired of having the rug pulled out from under you. Looking forward to discovery if ANYONE ever gets indicted.

Remember, lDonaldTrump

isn’t fighting for re-election, he is fighting to stay

out of prison post 1/20/21. Let’s make sure he

finally has to answer for all he has done

The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit will rehear en banc the case involving the dismissal of charges against Flynn. The hearing is scheduled August 11. The decision to rehear the case suggests the the initial ruling is likely to be overturned.

The timeline could get interesting. It could be months before a decision is announced.

I am listening and Flynn's attorney and Solicitor Wall are getting pretty tough questioning. Seems like only Henderson and Rao (the two original votes for mandamus) are really on his side.

For example, the Government was forced to argue that the "with leave of the court" standard is so weak, judges would still have to grant a 48(a) motion even if they observed a literal cash-filled suitcase being handed to the prosecutors in open court to get them to change their mind. Not all of the judges were... onboard with that.

Will be interesting to see how hard Sullivan's advocate gets it.

I believe a judge has a certain amount of discretion when he is a witness to a crime in his courtroom. He doesn't have to go along if the DoJ tells him to ignore what he just saw. Indeed, he would be an accessory if he did.

With regard to timeline. Given the time it takes to write and circulate opinions, the ruling might not come until late September or October. Maybe an appeal to the Supreme Court and the matter falls into the lap of the next Attorney General.

Beth Wilkinson, Sullivan's lawyer, got disconnected in the middle of a judge's question and we were treated to a chorus of "hello? hello? did I get disconnected" from various panel members. COVID has brought us to an awkward place. Thanks Obama.

The question I have is why do they need a prosecutor at the sentencing phase. The case is over. The procedure Flynn wants is completely improper. Judge Sullivan just wants to hold a hearing to determine if the DoJ's decision was corrupt. The DoJ says this would be an intrusive inquiry which is hilarious with what's going on with Durham and the Mueller investigation. Proper procedure would be to hold the hearing and he proceeds with sentencing they can appeal. All of this screams of desperation by Flynn and Barr. The only thing that really matters is if the judge would dismiss the case with prejudice. A part of me really wants the next AG to prosecute the case and convict Flynn after Barr saying there wasnt even enough evidence to continue prosecution.

Imagine having an IQ over 120 and thinking this hoax was real.

Nsacpi....how did you let this happen to you?

Yes...more please

Clinesmith was part of the Mueller team and the Clinton e-mail investigation team as well. However, don't expect anyone here to accept anything that comes from Durham. They'll just say he's one of Trump's stooges or some other BS they'll hear from the MSM. I personally expect a ton of left-wing prosecutors to come out and condemn Durham's investigation and the people here will buy into it.

The writing has been on the walls for 3 years. A blind man could see what happened.

We need to see obama questioned. There is already plenty of reason to believe he authorized all of this illegal activity. This makes Watergate look honest.

We knew what this guy did for a long time. I said I wouldnt be surprised if he was charged. Doesnt change anything. It doesnt make Trump any less guilty of the crimes he has committed. Funny to hear you whine that no one takes you seriously. When you show some consistency in your outrage maybe people wont take your opinions as a joke. DHS just admitted to wholesale perjury a week ago.
