This is big...
In reality it's just a president elect building relationship's with foreign leaders. Basically what every American should expect out of any president elect.
So why all the lying about it?
... and now ABC completely turns tail.

I know its MSM giving a shoutout to MSM but this paragraph is interesting:
ABC News reported Friday that Flynn is prepared to tell Mueller's team that Trump had instructed him to make contact with Russia during the campaign itself. If those contacts involved the emails the U.S. intelligence community charges Russia stole from leading Democrats, then Mueller will have uncovered evidence of actual collusion between the president and a foreign adversary during the election. Impeachment could then be in the cards.
It definitely makes the public state of affairs as known today sound less juicy and sinister. But Flynn cooperating has got to be bad for the WH. He wasn't given a deal just for giggles.
I do like how all of the acknowledged Russian contacts (including the alleged Kushner request for a secure channel to Moscow outside of US intel ears) are explained away as them being so hot to defeat ISIS that they couldn't restrain themselves.
You can just hear the appended "believe me."
For those of you who cling to the belief that this is a big nothing burger, I offer the following considerations:
Flynn’s encounters with Kislyak get at central questions about the 2016 Presidential campaign and election: why were Trump and Russia doing one another’s bidding, and was there any sort of quid pro quo between Trump and Russia in the event that he won? Flynn has now committed himself to answering those questions.
Maybe his answers to those questions are exculpatory. Maybe not. I lean toward the former view, partly because the special prosecutor is unlikely to have accepted Flynn's proffer unless it pointed to malfeasance further up the chain of command.
You know this Flynn plea is nothing if joy reid didn't lead with it
It's something to Flynn. He didn't plead guilty for the fun of it.
As much as I don't care for POTUS, this is sounding more "unsavory" and less "impeachable" by the moment.
