Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

The first person who can eloquently and cogently summarize for me why anyone should give a **** about this receives a "I will not mock you" token good for 1 day.

Julio yours is only good for 0.5 days.

My assumption is that Trump is making noise about firing Mueller and it's someone close to Trump trying to save him from himself. In June it was Chris Ruddy doing it on the record, iirc.

So, no, I'm not really sure if there's any reason to care, since it's pretty much agreed-upon that he wants to fire him. Unless this is supposed to be some bank shot related to testimony re Trump's state of mind w/r/t obstruction.

It also reinforces the narrative from Fire and Fury, that Trump is out of his depth, needs to be controlled and that there is a general state of chaos around Trump. It's interesting that this is the 2nd or 3rd time we've heard that his inner staff has threatened to quit to get him to behave.

What else might have been on Trump's mind back in June

that might have made him want to fire Mueller

(other than a years-old golf fee dispute, of course)?

From what I've read,
It was Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus that talked Trump down.

let this sink in.
Steve Bannon was the calm voice of reason

Awesome that this is what Russia collusion has come to. Absolutely nothing

Wait, what? I'm not saying it's some sort of strong evidence or anything, but Trump trying to fire Mueller is certainly not a point in your favor.

Of course genius Don denies it even as his boy Hannity confirmed it and defended him last night.

holy **** that hannity segment. how on earth do people watch that. we are such a dumb, dumb country. talks about the NYT trying to distract people. then gets confirmation. then shows a police chase video out of nowhere...simply to distract people. he always knew how dumb his viewers are which is why he has a market. but he's deluded himself down with them. he's gone all in to defend this abhorrent man, completely devoid of any integrity whatsoever.

trump is a lock to lie if he's under oath. he's already obstructed beyond belief. get on him perjury, too. he lies about the dumbest stuff imaginable. i don't even think he does it on purpose, it's just who he is and who he's always been. he can't help it.

why bother? he's on the jonestown bus. trump could **** his pants and thethe would call it the most beautiful thing he's ever seen, and talk about how great it is for America that the president is willing to poop his pants. there's no point in trying to use reason on someone who didn't reason themselves into their position.

Obstruction of Justice, Perjury.
Concealed the complicity of high officials of the White House staff and of
the campaign Committee to Re-Elect the President in the acts specified in C
ounts 7 and 8, for the purpose of
defeating and preventing criminal prosecutions by the United States, by (a) destroying documentary evidence,
(b) concealing the existence of documentary evidence, (c) promising executive clemency and paying money
and causing money to be paid to G. Gordon Liddy, E. Howard Hunt, Bernard Barker, Virg
ilio Gonzales, Frank
Sturgis, James McCord and Eugenio Martinez to induce them, and which did induce them, to plead guilty to
charges of burglary and to withhold testimony and to refuse to testify before a grand jury and at trial, (d)
suborning perjury by Jeb S. Magruder at the trial of Liddy,

.................

.....................................................................................................

In the end, Nixon was not charged with the burglary of Ellsberg files or the break-in of the Watergate but,
a huge but here --- was charged with obstructing justice.

In Trumps case, to this point, yes all of this points to collusion with the Russians. I say that because why else would he open himself up to Obstruction of Justice and why are all of his peole lying about contact with the Russians ?

Not one of Trumps defenders has answered that question
.................................................................................

Bear in mind
A conspiracy to obstruct justice is a weighty as the act.

in everything he's ever done there's been chaos. he isn't a functional, good leader. he deceives, lies, threatens - that's it. the white house is chaotic for even intelligent, strong leaders. this guy? nothing could calm down that ****show.

to that point, after all of the allegations of corruption and malfescence, Clinton was impeached for lying to a grand jury.
Perjury

trump knows for a fact that russia messed with our election, but still defends them and says they didn't. why?

the dutch have a lot of info. thank god for actual allies.

Now the question is once he is subpoenaed, and he will be subpoenaed, will he ignore the subpoena ?
And how will Congress react

Remember a year or so ago we brought up "constitutional crisis."
Here it comes

i cannot believe people are dumb enough to truly believe trump wanted mueller fired because of golf dues. please tell me people are not this unbelievably stupid. i'm guessing he was furious when sessions stepped back from this because he owed him money from lunch the other day.

there's no way his lawyers would let him speak under oath. he'd lie again about his crowd size on a completely unrelated question. he's the smallest fat man ever.
