Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) urged President Donald Trump and his lawyer on Sunday to stop flailing at special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation and to let the probe continue unimpeded.

"When you are innocent … act like it," Gowdy said on “Fox News Sunday“ when asked about Trump's repeated Twitter attacks on Mueller, whose probe has become increasingly perilous to the president and his inner circle. "If you’ve done nothing wrong, you should want the investigation to be as fulsome and thorough as possible."

It confirms what Republican Representative Mike Conaway already let slip—that Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee actively avoided finding any issues.


And when Trump began using the phrase "fake news", he was well-briefed on the fact that he had several fake news factories of his own working 'round the clock.

Even I am a little impressed at the degree to which his sordid schemes seems to have reached.

A) The report (from ITV's Channel 4 - in the UK) reveals that Cambridge Analytica CLAIMS to have provided the DATA behind 'everything' on the Trump campaign

B) What does this even mean? "Actively planting false stories and using false fronts"

C) No, it doesn't.

I dunno, I would say that Nix's account of his questioning by the HPSCI may demonstrate that they weren't particularly interested in any kind of substantial fact-finding.
