Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

documents that brief Erik Prince Superstar before the meeting about the person he will be randomly bumping into at a bar in the Seychelles

I'm sure these documents were dated and they have chain of custody proof showing when prince received them. Otherwise, it's just the word of another unamed source.

documents usually are transmitted electronically nowadays, which makes it fairly easy to determine dates...but why are you concerned...i thought the whole Erik Prince Superstar narrative disproves collaboration

Well I certainly look forward to the whole collusion narrative being reduced to a meeting to set up a communication line months after the election was over.

Well done Mueller.

To your edited point:

The meeting is of no concern to me. My concern is fabricated evidence which is what we have seem already.

It should not go unremarked in this thread that the Rosenstein memo that was part of Mueller's filing this week authorizes an investigation into collaboration with the Russians for the purposes of influencing the elections by Pavel Manafartov, one-time chairman of the Trump campaign.

Probably the testimony of another less than savory character. What else could be a document of a meeting intention?

And we still are at the point that the meeting is perfectly reasonable and we'll after the election which further indicates there was never a channel of communication between Trump and the russians.

But please, continue to press this issue. It basically counters the narrative of collusion during the election.

Which leads to the now familiar refrain of "in that case, why lie about it?"

Mueller will probably finish his report, with or without Trump's testimony, long before the Nov. elections, and of course, that will not be the end of it. I'm just wondering about the preferred timing for this thing to roll out by all affected. Mueller has to be thinking about the coming election and how and in what particular climate his report is going to be received. Even without any political bias motivations, there is still much to be considered with regards to expediency, especially if he is going to recommend specific courses of action.

One would assume he'll try to appear as neutral and apolitical as possible, given how things went down in the last election. That may be impossible given Trump's instinct to pick a fight when cornered, like most common criminals, but also given the everyone's unquenchable appetite for leaks.

I believe Mueller has told Trump's attorneys that the abuse of power/obstruction part of the investigation will be done first, with a reporting date of June or July.

And there's also the timing of the Comey book tour which could be overkill, viewed as political and further taint the whole investigation.

(first 11 minutes or so)

FBI raids Michael Cohen's office...been wondering when that would happen

Always my first thought when Cohen pops up:

The offices of the POTUS's lawyer were just raided by the FBI, but not to worry. The President is not currently "a target" in any investigation.
